50 acres covered in large oak trees. We offer several miles of hiking trails, a three acre vineyard, a beautiful pond, secluded camping and abundant wildlife. Located in north western Hill County 15 miles from I-35, Hideout Ridge looks out upon the highest point in the county. Each camp site is separated by trees. A cedar bathhouse with a toilet and hot water shower is a five minute walk from the tent sites and non potable water is available from the tap. A fire pit is available except during dry conditions . The host lives on the property.

This treehouse is a boutique cottage built high in the trees. It is complete with a queen size bed, coffee bar, mini fridge, a/c and heat, front porch, downstairs covered patio with outdoor furnishings, fire pit and picnic table - think of it as camping in comfort. Enjoy the outdoor space at night, sitting around the fire, gazing at the star-filled sky or enjoying the ambience of the outdoor lighting as you relax in the comfy chairs. It is a 1 minute walk to the uniquely crafted stone and cedar bathhouse, which has a real toilet, sink and hot shower. Fire pit has a grill grate but bring anything else you need for cooking (pans, utensils, etc.)

It’s a very shaded spot. The picnic area is nestled inside a large cedar tree and the fire pit is secluded behind the tent area. A 10 x 10 pad is leveled for your tent to provide comfortable sleeping. This site will only accommodate parking for 1 car. It’s conveniently located on the main trail and is the 2nd closest to the bathhouse.

RV Camp Spot #1

Stayed in RV #1. Great level spot with fire pit and picnic table. Bathhouse was a super short walk away which was a nice surprise. Allison and her family were very welcoming. River, their dog, always greeted you with excitement when you left the bathhouse. The property has a nice 1 mile trail with a little pond and some good trails. Definitely would stay here again. The tiny house bungalows looked very cute as well. If you are car camping or have a rooftop tent most of the tent sites would technically work as well.

We had a great camping experience here on the property. It was very beautiful, quiet and with a wonderful host. The shower and bathroom were very clean as well. Would 100% stay here again if our future adventures brings us close to this location.

Beautiful site, directions were easy to follow and everything is marked. Bath house is super pretty, and we loved being able to get firewood easily on the property. Lovely trip and booking from start to finish, can't wait to return with my family!

Hideout Ridge was amazing! Very well taken care of! The only issue is there is 1 toilet & 1 shower for all of the sites.

Site 4 - Hideout Ridge

Site #4 is the most secluded spot and its next to the pond which makes for a really great spot to camp. The whole property is peaceful but I think the real gem is the cedar bath house. After a few days of roughing it, it was really nice to take a good shower before heading home.
