Tent Site #2 with Fire Ring
We came down to watch the eclipse and John’s beautiful campsites were the perfect place. The view of the creek and waterfalls was amazing, the individual sites were clean & level, and the on-site bathroom, while basic, was also clean and cozy. We rented two sites together, 1 & 2, and even though half of our party dropped out of the trip last minute, we kept both of them. Our tent/yurt (16’ dia) was too big for the rather large platform at site 1, but we fit into site 2. The sites are close together in general, but we were one of only 2 groups the first night and

Larger Deck #1 with Fire Ring
So pretty
A true gem! Gorgeous view; clean and cozy campsites, and a wonderful host. So glad we chose this spot and we will be back again!

DECK NEAR CREEK #5 w Fire Ring
John's place is great for getting away and camping. Beautiful location with great view of the creek. Having the bathhouse is an added convenience! Everything is well maintained and taken care of.

Private Tent #4 with Fire Ring
Enjoyable and laid back place
Nice campsite next to a running creek with a water fall. Quit place for a short stay. We stayed here during the total eclipse. If I head this way again I would consider another stay at Deer Creek Camp. Friendly owner.

Private Tent Site #6, FireRing
peaceful
Site 6 was decently private and cozy. It was a little fire rings and NO platform for the tent. This isn’t a problem. The ground is smooth just bring a tarp. The waterfall is gorgeous and sounds lovely when you sleep. The wagon to carry stuff in and out was helpful. The toilet is a composting set up and was nice to have available with minimal odor. Overall pleased! A peaceful one night stay for us. I’m not sure what else there is to do in the area, we walked about a bit but overall it was just a nice little site for the chilly day to just sit around a fire and enjoy nature.

Beautiful property, clean restrooms and good host. Can’t wait to visit again….the creek is clean and wonderful and the sounds of waterfall make for good rest.
