Relax on 26 acres of rolling pasture with native trees and a private 7-acre lake. Enjoy huge Texas sunsets overlooking grazing cattle. Bring your kayaks or paddle boards to cruise on the private lake. Relax and read a book in the tree shade or hike around the lake. Check out our lake wildlife including plenty of waterfowl that regularly visit. Bring your fishing poles - the peninsula is a perfect fishing location on our stocked lake! Courteous canine friends are welcome. Our camping area is a graded grass and dirt area off of a gravel driveway with shade trees and a lake view. Enjoy a private camping setting. There is a shared water hydrant for the sites. For bigger water and easy access to Lake Ray Roberts State Park, head over to the Johnson Branch of Lake Ray Roberts which is less than 15 minutes away. Valley View downtown with local restaurants, wine and whiskey tasting is just 7 minutes away. Edge of the Lake Vineyard is also 7 minutes away. Drinking water is available at the campsites from a water hydrant. No electricity is available at campsites. There are no bathroom amenities here. Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

3 - Lakeview Grassy site

Fabulous spot, exactly what we were after for a relaxing weekend. Boys caught plenty of fish and dogs caught plenty of sniffs. Place was out of the way enough to be quiet but close enough that is wasn't a big deal to run and grab the few things we inevitably forgot. 10/10

1-Lakeview Grass and Dirt Area

I hate to leave a bad review but the pictures and description of this place are intentionally misleading. I paid for two nights but left after the first because I was camping in someone’s backyard with a family camping right next to me in the middle of a neighborhood with multiple houses staring at me. There is no sense of being in nature here or even the slightest bit of privacy. House with living room staring at you is 20 yards behind this spot. Host was nice but this should not be more than one camp site and listing should be more honest.

Fantastic serene spot. Surprisingly quiet with a sense of being away from all the noise and traffic of the city and yet you aren’t too far for conveniences. Pond was calm and soothing. Directions and access were great. I was hoping for a little more separation between the 3 sites but it’s not that bad. Come prepared to boondock. As the host explains, there is no electric and there is only one water spigot to share between the three sites. Not something you can hook up to but you can fill up. Grab site three if you can it is definitely the best! Loved our stay.

EXCEPTIONAL HOST!!

Susan was EXCELLENT!! Very cool property. Awesome communication. Susan and her husband were super accommodating to our re years for our children and we may have set a record catch on their lake!!!
