Our place is 0.7 mile from the Appalachian Trail and the Nolichuckey River. There are lots of great outdoor activities in the area including whitewater rafting, tubing, hiking and backpacking, and there's even a caving trip run by one of the local outfitters. We are close to a number of state parks and recreation areas, including:
