Learn more about this land:
We are a working generational homestead. We have mini cattle, modern cattle, lots of wildlife from deer, coyotes, bobcats, wild turkeys, cottontails, pond full of fish for fishing, chickens (free fresh eggs will be available) honeybees and goats. A small creek within walking distance. Depending on the time of year garden vegetables and blackberries will be ready for the picking. The closest convenience store is 2 miles away and they serve plates. DoorDash delivers here as well as Kroger. Nearest town is Shelbyville and it’s around 10 miles from here. Historic Bell Buckle is 12 miles from here and Murfreesboro is 20. Campers can walk about the land and explore plants, native birds. We ask that campers respect the privacy of the tenants in the 150+year old farmhouse and stay away from the sheds. No pets allowed as this is a working farm and new pet visitors will upset the livestock. Absolutely no firearms prohibited. Other than completely getting away from civilization and freedom to socialize with your friends we are a pretty basic homestead. Plenty of trees to hang hammocks, fallen timber to use as firewood. There will be outhouses to use for “nature calls” and water tanks can be filled here too. We will only have one hipcamping group here at a time but you can invite 20 friends to camp with you.We are a working generational homestead.
