Lovely stay at Magnetic Island
We had a very nice stay at The Forts. Tee was very nice, she gave us lots of tips for the island. She had a great energy around herself. We used the double campings bike (Racey Red) to go to the beach which was really fun! At our last day Tee even gave us eggs from the chicken on the camping. I would definitely recommend this camping to anyone looking for a nice stay on Magnetic Island!

AMAZINNG
I loved our experience here, beautiful lay out, very spacious and hosts are so helpful with recommendations. Meant to stay 1 night and ended up staying 3! Highly recommend. Definitely worth it being the cheapest stay on the island and just what you need. Only thing I’d say needs improvement would be a toilet however there are toilets just driving distant up the road so it’s not the end of the world! Beautiful and thank you for having us :)

Off grid camping
My partner and I hired a Winnebago with the intention of travelling to Port Douglas, but with the unfortunate impact of recent weather events, several weeks back we decided to opt out and detour across to Magnetic Island for the first time unsure if our accommodation was suitable. We were actually glad that we made this decision.…Tee and Steve were great and make you feel very welcome. We had an issue with the fridge where we could have lost our food but Steve worked his magic and got us sorted. Both Tee and Steve were very informative with what to do and places to see based on their own experiences that aren’t necessarily advertised. Tee was 100% correct on Barefoots steak 👌 a bit of a novel but if you want an unforgettable memory of an amazing place with great hosts I highly recommend staying here, I could of quite easily stayed a week. Thanks again Tee and Steve

Amazing first bush camp experience
We were very happy with our stay! The owners are lovely! There was a lot of room on the camp ground and it looked really nice. Bush shower was fun, no toilet but the owners ordered one that was delayed so it will be even better in the future! Got some free eggs and free rides in/out of town, that was really appreciated! Perfect location, close to horseshoe bay, Selina hostel the bus stop and the Forts walk (koala’s). If you’re lucky, the koala’s are present at the campground. Overall a very good first bush camp experience for us!

Tees and Steve are very welcoming and answer all your questions and can suggest different attractions in the area , the land is gently sloping , surrounded by bushland with level sites to suit all types of camping and families with all amenities close by , Thanks for your hospitality . Had such a lovely time at the camp, the owners were absolutely amazing and so insightful on what to do on Maggie island. Recommended barefoot for their steaks which were to die for!
