Susan River Homestead Adventure Resort was established in 1978 & over the past 39 years has concentrated on giving tourists an experience to remember for all the right reasons, this family owned friendly Resort also holds Weddings, Conferences & outdoor horsemanship spectaculars. Over the past 2 years we have found that many of our wonderful long term clients have turned to camping, caravanning & RV’s & many have requested to stay, so to bring them back to the Homestead we have established facilities that will cater to their needs. The Resort offers horse riding which is recognised as outstanding by our many return clients & horse lovers worldwide. Enjoy water sports on the resorts own 17 acre lake or use the tennis courts, swimming pool, in-ground trampoline & BBQ area. On the property but operated by other entities is a High Low Ropes Courses, Abseiling Tower & Paint Ball Facilities, Susan River Homestead is an adventure lover’s dream. Camping , Caravans & RV sites are available at Susan River Homestead all year round, limited powered sites are available.

Susan River Homestead - So goooood
Such a great long weekend - good facilities, plenty of room, close to Fraser for day trips and the horse riding was the absolute highlight for our family. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back! Thanks again Abbie

Highly recommend Susan’s River Homestead. Great amenities, pet friendly, fires, horse riding, tennis court, pool, tramp, lots of things for kids to do.

Camp sites during rain events
Although we eventually had a nice experience, the campsite we had originally booked was underwater when we arrived from the recent weather. The condition of the camp site was unknown to the hosts and a pain to relocate us as the site was not able to be used. The bathrooms were kept tidy considering the rain and mud. Overall the confusion regarding the sites could have been prevented had the hosts done a site check the morning of after a considerable amount of rain.
