Great camp for families
Plenty of space, bonus having toilets and showers and laundry, within easy walk to town and an amazingly large camp kitchen. Met some lovely travellers, we didn’t have a fire but plenty did, $10 big bag of wood. You get to pat horses and say hello to a few dogs too.

Favourite place in Chinchilla
The park is mostly flat with shade trees well trimmed, good paths to all the amenities, a large communal shed supplied with bbq/grills and utensils, refrigerator to freeze bricks for the esky, tv, plenty of tables and chairs, washing up area for pots and dishes, toaster and lots more to share if needed. Showers are hot, pump hand wash, great toilet paper dispensers. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and looking up at the stars. Don’t forget the mozzie spray though. We take our little dog with, and always meet other lovely dog owners on walks around the park.

Next to a dam
We met a lovely lady called Shelly. She drove us to our campsite which was a drive through facing a little dam with ducks. There is much for the children to keep busy with and we were very happy with the whole set up. Late night revellers next door.
