Mahlkau Farm, Queensland
The old homestead was build back in 1916. Originally the Elliott family ran cattle here. There is a large mango orchard by the homestead with two trees estimated to be over 100 years old. The property has over the years been subdivided and is now down to 600 acres. We have named this piece of land Mahlkau, after our grandmothers farm in East Prussia, where the events of WW2 lead our family to the shores of Australia to start all over again...
