This 10 acre property is located on the banks of Taromeo Creek, a quiet and peaceful camping location with great birdwatching. Taromeo Creek is a seasonal creek and is sometimes dry and sometimes flowing. When the water is flowing there are a number of water holes along the creek. Close to the local town of Blackbutt and only one and a half hours drive north west of Brisbane. Also close to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail which offers 162kms of recreational trail for you to hike, bike or horse ride; with a local golf course nearby. Mount Binga National Park is close by which has areas to ride and hike. The annual Avocado festival which runs on the second weekend in September is always a popular time to visit. Our campsites vary and are spread across our 86 acres to give you as much privacy as possible. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure, Campfires are permitted in the fire pits provided. Pets are welcome but must be kept under owners control. Our 86 acre property is located on the banks of Taromeo Creek which is a quiet and peaceful camping location with great birdwatching. Bishop Farm Camp
Convenient and affordable
Convenient Location, just a couple of minutes drive into the town of Blackbutt. Plenty of space to choose from and lots of flat areas to set up. Beautiful big trees and lovely place to enjoy the sunset. Cheap and cheerful spot for a night's stopover.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and also the morning and late afternoon visit from the cattle in the adjoining paddock. Just being inquisitive about the humans. The location gave a 180 degree view across the valley. We would stay here again

Nice spot perched high with lovely views and a rustic feel - not for everyone but it suited us. No access to the creek however we had afternoon visits from the local cows. Only about 5mins from town and Les was helpful when we arrived.

Great spot & great views close town
Les met us on arrival and guided us to a magnificent camp with excellent views. It was a great spot to sit back and relax for the weekend, but we also knew that Les was available should we need anything. We absolutely loved it and will definitely visit again.

Follow the driveway past the house to a different world. Large sites - stayed on the one with the Bunya trees. Awesome views of Australian bush with great wifi reception too. Les, is a very friendly host. Beautiful gift of bottle of bubbles and pack of local avo’s on arrival as we were his first guests. Really generous - thank you. Our RV was self contained, but Les had set up water hook up and electricity close to the home. We would only use this if we needed to top up our battery and water tanks and then return to the privacy of your campsite. Good to know there is a dump point and water top up too a short drive away next to the Blackbutt Showgrounds.
