Lakeside Sanctuary - Private Camping, Queensland

All campsites are PRIVATE, the closest camper is 200 meters away. We are positioned on Lake Monduran with 96 acres and 1km lake frontage, there is an abundance of fish and wildlife. Annual international fishing competition are held here to see who can catch the biggest barramundi (fishing license required). The bird life is in the thousands which include pelicans, shags, and eagles. On a daily basis, they congregate to fish and take a leisurely swim. Some people might also find swimming in the lake devine. Campers need to have own camping toilet and remove all rubbish, leave it as you find it = NO TRACE. Campfires permitted in designated area when restrictions aren't in place. STRICTLY NO PETS PERMITTED ** We run a registered horse charity and self-funded sanctuary for other animals. We are now accessible to RV'S and large caravans. Areas out of bounds are NOT TO BE VIOLATED Failure to follow property rules, will be asked to leave immediately.
