Kenilworth Rural Camping is a quiet, family friendly private camping area in the heart of Kenilworth, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Adjacent to the Charles Street Mary River parklands, this 5 acre block has beautiful drive through, flat grassy sites. Shady or open spaces with a seasonal water hole on the property, 150mtrs from the Mary River, through the park or a 5 minute walk to town (600mtrs to the pub!). We have 5 camping sites, each suitable to any size caravans, campers, tents etc. Each site has the capacity to fit 3 caravans or equivalent and up to 10 guests. Fire pits at all sites. Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet/shower set up and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. Please , nothing is to be burnt in the firepits other than firewood. No glass bottles or can's at all. Dogs must be on a leash at ALL times and must be cleaned up after. Family Group bookings welcome! Strictly no party groups. *All guests must be added to the booking request. Children under 12 are free but please ensure you include them in with the booking request. *The Mary River, and the water hole water levels are determined on rain fall.*

Beautiful green grassy paddock with lots of room for family groups. Big shady trees. Easy walk to the quaint Kenilworth shops.

Great relaxing location
beautiful clean kept camp ground, plenty of space between camp sites, best for a serine quiet country campsite close to town and Mary river. Very welcomeing host who paid a casual visit. I would highly recommend it....................we'll be back for sure.

Location, location, location. Walking distance to town, Mary River & more. Very quiet and open space. Bit wet when we arrived, but we absolutely loved our stay & will certainly be back.

our first time at a paid site!
We had the most peaceful and private getaway at Shane's beautiful and very looked after property. We were lucky enough to have the first night to ourselves. Felt very safe and secure and a walk into town was minutes away. Second night we had 2 other guests but they are far enough away that you feel you are still enjoying a very private time. Loved it.
