Hodgson's Hideaway, Queensland

A small "Hobby Farm" located north of Cardwell.

After years of friends and family staying on our property to camp, we have decided to open it up to the public.

This is for people who don't want to travel to far, or are passing through and want to have that real camping experience away from caravan parks.

We have various campsites in a grassy field with lots of shaded areas.

There's lots of space between campsites - you choose where you want to camp!

great base camp for visiting the Hinchinbrook Islands and exploring tropical North Queensland and surrounding areas

Many fruit trees to pick from at your leisure when in season! Mangoes, Starfruit, Brasillian Cherries, Mangoesteens, Black Sapote's and much more!

We are dog friendly, but please make sure they are restrained at all times as there is native wildlife and our dogs are also enclosed on the property.

- 5 minute drive to the Edmund Kennedy, Girramay National Park. You may even spot a Cassowary on the drive down!

- 10 minute drive to the famous Cardwell Spa Pools

- 30 minute drive to Murray Falls

- 5 minutes to the grocery store
