The property is situated in the historic and friendly township of Howard on 56 acres of land. Is it nature at its best, yet so close to town and 500 meters from Bruce Highway. Spend your days at the beach, fishing or doing beautiful bush walks in the area. There is plenty to see and do here with Hervey Bay and Fraser Island close by as well. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste with them on departure. We do have town water available from a tap near the main house. We have a dirt track that runs around the property, 2 dams and plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to use for firewood. All you need and more is within 1km and it is just a short walk to the pub. Only 5 minutes to Burrum River, where you can launch your boat catch crabs, prawns, and plenty of fish. Only 18 minutes to Burrum Heads and Toogoom beautiful beaches. Buttler/curry chef can be arranged for $100 a day.The best Bruce highway transit camp, Only 250 meters from Bruce highway. The best place for curry lovers. Spend your days at the beach, fishing or doing beautiful bush walks in the area. There is plenty to see and do here with Hervey Bay and Fraser Island close by as well. Ideal to do day trips to Fraser island and whale watching in Hervey bay from Howard bush town camp. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste with them on departure. We do have town water availale for about 8 caravans . We have facilities to provide few powered sites who camp near the entrance for an additional fee. We have a dirt track that runs around the property which is an extreme 4x4 lovers paradise, you will get a free night stay and a curry feed if you do a full run around the property on the fire break. 2 dams and plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to use for firewood. just a short walk to the pub. Only 5 minutes to Burrum River, where you can launch your boat catch crabs, prawns, and plenty of fish. Only 18 minutes to Burrum Heads and Toogum beautiful beaches. Beautiful bamboo land is 5 minutes drive,a must see . Be on your beers all day you are on your holiday no need to drive.Walk to pub and town or get free ride to the pub from the booze bus. Please take care of kids at all times because being a bush block many wildlife would be around. There will be 2 dams and a few water holes which are not fenced, and you have to take care enjoying their beauty. Although due care has been taken for the safety of campers the risk of falling trees or tree branches still could arise, hence take care when you choose a camping spot and be vigilant. Certain areas of campsite will be boggy after a heavy rain. Campers choose their own site.
