This sawmill is unlike any bandmill, boasting a massive 4 and a half-foot circular saw, a relic from the years between 1935 and 1945. Its rhythmic, melodic hum fills the air, blending seamlessly with the symphony of nature. The captivating noise created an enchanting ambiance, luring those in search of solace and beauty. We run our mill with recycled cooking oil and a diesel blend. Behind the sawmill, nature thrives harmoniously. Wildlife painted the surroundings with vibrant colors, as birds filled the sky with their elegant dances and curious squirrels scurried about, their fluffy tails adding a playful touch to the lush landscape. The cabin is a sanctuary where one can witness the wonders of nature, just a walk away from the roaring sawmill. Come check out a piece of preserved history all while enjoying pristine wooded views! This place was awesome, super cool people and a great spot to spend the night. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone in the area.

This cabin felt like home! Off grid but close to main roads. Very cozy inside. Cabin was all warmed up before arrival. The forest feels were the greatest. Would definitely revisit! 🍻

Sawmill Woodzie Cabin

We loved the rustic off grid woodzie cabin. When we walked in cabin after dark we were invited by fairy lights through out, very nice touch. It rained on first day of stay. Which wasn’t a problem because the cabin offered a charcoal grill and we roasted marshmallows and hotdogs. We played cards by candle light and listened to the rain. The fairy lights were a nice touch that help set a relaxing tone. The cabin stayed warm on the chilly night with a wood burning stove. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast on the fire. The cabin is close to dinning and may opportunities for hiking! Our favorite was High knob inn and The words end park. Would recommend and would love to return.

A nice cabin within a short drive of lots of hiking. Everything was clean and directions from the host were clear and helpful. The wood stove kept the place plenty warm in February!

Sawmill Woodzie Cabin

This is a place like heaven

Gorgeous place, owners are very friendly, the Wood Burner was started just before we arrive so cabin was warm. Everything was great just for wifi connection you need to get out of the cabin and walk couple feet down and I cannot say place was dirty but definitely need to have deep cleaning, there is a some corners/windows have dead bugs and spider web.

Fairly clean and very comfortable bedding. Host was exceptionally welcoming, fire was started when we were arriving.
