There are 5 sites to stop with an RV or tent plus a stone cabin with loft. The soil is very rocky not easy to farm so Grandpa said they " lived on elderberries and groundhog". 17 miles away is Punxsytawney home of the famous groundhog. There is 50 acres with a pink marked trail to Red Bank Creek and back up through a hemlock forest. A small stream runs through the property and forms a rocky delta in Red Bank Creek. I love the rocks on the property huge and small. Hike, enjoy the sound of the stream tickling through property, stargaze, or rest and relax in a hammock. There is one along the little stream and one at Outdoor Adventure Camp Site. No hunting on property but fishing allowed. Please keep fires in firepit and noise levels low.

Rustic Cabin
Solo mom-needs-time-away weekend
I spent my weekend at the cabin in order to find some quiet solitude away from my wild family and I was not disappointed. The cabin was clean, organized, and absolutely perfect for what I was seeking. Judy, the co-host, met my dog and me upon arrival with a cheery welcome and ended up visiting for a little bit the next day. We shared some tea and conversation and I greatly appreciated her hospitality and willingness to provide anything to make my stay as cozy as possible. I did not sleep in the loft because it was REALLY cold and I wanted to stay with my dog, who is too big to carry up to the loft, to make sure he didn't get too cold. The fire kept us warm enough along with the cold-weather gear I brought and Judy provided a small propane indoor heater for the second night. The layout of the cabin was perfect and had a nice functional "flow" to it. There was adequate space to cook and store food and other items without feeling cramped and I felt very safe over all during my stay. If you struggle with the dark, I'd recommend bringing a headlamp and any extra lights because it does get very dark. There are enough candles and lanterns available to use but I liked having all of my extra lights, too. I look forward to staying here again!

Mimi shed
I spent 2 nights in the Mimi shed. Perfect winter getaway. There is a lot of property to explore, with trails and streams. Linda is very nice and replies instantly with any needs you have. She runs an excellent Hipcamp. I’ll definitely be back!

Perfect paradise!
Wonderful spot and so peaceful! Great hiking around the area fairly close. The pups loved playing in the stream and even with the rainy weather, it was a perfect get away

Rustic Cabin
We had a good time visiting and the dogs loved running in the woods and creek. There’s a great trail throughout the property and the view into the woods and stream Is really nice. This property abuts a fairly busy road, which wasn’t apparent from the listing. We definitely thought it was going to be more remote. The host brought fire wood over for $5/load. It was a good deal and we were thankful to have it. The bed was comfortable. The downstairs not so much. It’s a hunting cabin, so it is what it is. Getting up and down the ladder was a bit treacherous as was walking around the fire pit area where flagstone was laid around on the ground. This made the ground uneven and hard to have good footing. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with mobility issues. It was a good time all in all
