Our cherished meadow has been in the family for five generations. The property was deeded off from the original farm in the early 1990's. You can see the old homestead from The Meadow but the barns have been torn down and the original farm house burnt down in the 1980's. There is a beaver dam within walking distance. On one side of the 21 acre meadow is the local family owned cemetery. Explore the cemetery, go walking, biking, or just kick back and relax.
The meadow is on top of the rolling hills in the Pocono Mountain Region of Northeastern PA. The view of the surrounding area and the sky are spectacular. On a clear night you will be in awe of the starry sky. By day the view of the hill tops seems to stretch on forever. In the fall the surrounding area is covered with a beautiful patchwork of leaves.

We offer five individual sites within the open meadow. We offer all natural camping with a pack out policy. There is no running water or electric on site. We do offer non-potable water and there is a small portable toilet on site. Fire wood and kindling are available. This property is along a dirt road and not totally secluded.

Hello Campers! Thank you for checking out our sites. We have five tent sites available in an open meadow. This provides great views of the hill tops and the night sky. However, there is minimal shade and minimal privacy if there are other guests. The meadow is along side a dirt road in a peaceful country community. You will see and/or hear turkeys, coyotes, bear, owls, Bald eagles, deer, and other wildlife. There is a nearby beaver dam, biking, ATV, and snowmobile trails, and a waterfall. We do not have water, electric, or sewer. We do have a portable toilet in a make shift outhouse. We DO NOT allow guests to dig holes for human waste.
Camp site 1 is in the tree line and has a large fire pit with plenty of logs for seating. Site 1 does have our family camper near it but we will likely not be camping if you book with us. Site 1 is closest to the road but offers shade and some cover. You can pitch your tent in the trees or out in the meadow.
Camp site 2 does not have the best view and is nearest to a neighbors house. However, it is closest to the portable toilet and does offer privacy from the road. This site is mostly on a slight incline. The incline is mostly noticeable if you are leveling your table.
Camp site 3 has a great view and is near the apex of the field. Camp site 4 is at the apex and offers the best view. Camp site 3 and 4 are the closest together and would work well for booking two sites.
Camp site 5 provides the most privacy with a great view but you may need to have four wheel drive or park and walk down the incline to the site.
All the sites have a fire pit with a grate and you will get a bundle of wood for each night that you book with us. There is more wood available onsite for $5 a bundle. Please DO NOT bring wood from out of the area. We inherited this land that once belonged to my great grandfather. There is a family cemetery on the property. The cemetery is over 150 feet from the nearest campsite and surrounded by a stonewall and trees. Check out our reviews for camper feedback. We encourage you to ask questions before booking with us. Happy Camping!!
