Hello! Welcome to our family’s farm. The previous owner was here 50 years before selling to us in 2020. We have just under 20 acres here with beautiful views of the mountains where we raise our livestock and gardens. Your camping area is down in a quiet hollow beside our stream and shallow pond under the walnut trees, but if the weather gets rough you can always camp in our bank barn. There is a kitchen beside our barn available for you to use if you would like, also.This is a private area by the creek and our pond. The pond is only a few feet deep, but can hold the aluminum boat that is here. There is plenty of room for you to set up a few tents. There will probably be a cow or two watching you and there’s always the chance a rogue chicken may wander through your camp. If the weather turns bad, you can use our bank barn that we rent for events and you are welcome to the milk house kitchen if you would like.

Walnut Hollow

Beautiful family friendly spot

We tent camped on Candy's beautiful property and had a great time. Our kids loved being shown the cows and chickens as well as the creek and pond. Perfect flat, shaded spot with pretty views and plenty of space and privacy. They generously provided firewood and had an easily accessible toilet. The stars were beautiful too!

Walnut Hollow

We had a great time at Walnut Hollow! Candy and Aaron were super friendly and accommodating and their property was gorgeous! They gave us a quick tour when we arrived. We had a relaxing time in our truck tent and we parked right next to the fire pit by the creek. The outhouse is not a far walk at all. The dogs loved sniffing about and we enjoyed flirting with Gracie the cow.

Perfect. Do it.

Picturesque drive. Beautiful secluded site on a cute little homestead. Drive up access. Gracious hosts. There was even fireflies! (Fireflies are an indicator species showing healthy land) 10/10 - Going back next week.

Nice private farm camping.

Candice’s property was Umazing. We used her property for camping. Located just down the hill from her house, it’s a huge piece, private type setting and was very large. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer campsite. If we are ever in the area again we are def. Staying here. There was a porta potty on site which was Very clean and just up from the campsite. In the morning you can visit with the ducks, chickens, cows and take a nice walk around the large property. Enjoy your stay with her family.

Tent camping at Candice’s farm was so serene. We got a beautiful sunset! The camping area is easily accessible and felt very private. Clean port-a-John and access to clean water. Last-minute booking but they had the area ready for us and were great hosts.
