If you are having difficulty choosing between the campsites, this may help: Deer Meadow holds the greatest number of campers. It has both a winter hay meadow view and a view through the open mature hardwood forest. It offers the option of pitching the tent in the grass or back in the woods, but the firepit is in the woods and cannot be moved. Sweetfern is probably our most incredible site. No children, no pets. It is a safari site, located IN the livestock pasture with both sunrise/sunset views plus a mountain view and likely visits from horses/goats and also wildlife. It is protected by an electric fence and even your car must be inside the fence.
