A working 54 acre farm and forest along the Dyberry Creek and thousands of acres of gamelands. It is a short hike to Tanner Falls. Learn more about this land: Set your tent beneath the trees along the Dyberry Creek and look out across our farm and pasture. Let the sounds of the creek lull you to sleep. Fish for trout, bike through the 8,000 acres of game lands, go for a hike on our 54 acre farm, buy some vegetables (perhaps), or go visit nearby Tanner's Falls. Just ten to fifteen minutes from bustling Honesdale with plenty of restaurants and shops.Set your tent along the Dyberry Creek and look out across the farm and hay and sheep pasture. Let the sounds of the creek lull you to sleep. Enjoy a swim, fish for trout, bike along Upper Woods Road through the thousands of acres of state game lands, go for a hike on our farm and forest, perhaps buy some organic produce from the market garden (if available), or go visit nearby Tanner's Falls. Moka Origins is not far, you can even hike there. We are just 10-15 minutes from bustling Honesdale with plenty of restaurants and shops.

Beautiful, peaceful, private
This site was so beautiful with the stream, pasture, woods, and the ridge behind! Every view was gorgeous and the property is well maintained. Scott was very responsive and helpful. We had a great weekend and will hopefully be back next year again!

We had a wonderful time camping here! Scott made us feel very welcome by checking to make sure we had all the information we needed prior to arrival; and when we did run into him, he offered us some local information and freshly harvested potatoes from his garden! It was a great addition to our dinner meal. The campsite was very peaceful and serene. It isn’t too far away from town but cell service is definitely not an amenity (fine by us! One of the many reasons to go camping). And since the property is so rural, we were able to see many stars late at night including the Milky Way! It was beautiful. The creek provided calming sounds to fall asleep to and was great to cool off in after a quick hike up to Tanner falls. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend camping here if you’re in the area!

Ode to Dyberry Creek
I stretch out beneath the trees Doing nothing; just as I please! The creek sets the mood For conversation like that of siblinghood To mellow I add some cream And enjoy a morning supreme Above me a butterfly floats Where the creek surrounds like a moat Off to the outhouse she said Where the flock of chickens is fed On the way she passes playful sheep In spring they wear their wool in heaps ~this place is incredible and better than pictures can portray ~getting water was a bit strenuous so bring some good containers for gathering water ~best camping experience I’ve ever had ~privacy, privacy, privacy! We stayed in site 1 ~short hike to nearby waterfalls is incredible

Our trip details
I like to left useful reviews with the idea to help others. Good - The creek is very nice to swiming, I loved - The view is awsome. - The night is really beautiful, with the fog on monaing and the fireflies on the grass, was incredible. - Your will fell that you're from the civilization, but safe because the host house is close. - You can park the car close from your tent - Personal for me, the experience was perfect all that I need from a campsite. Others - The portable bathroom is no very close from the camp site, this could be a problem for girls and kids. -The water falls have sign (no swimming allowed)
