Camp Fannie is a 1970 Fan Style Liner in almost original condition, she sits on a little over 2 acres with the Susquehanna river in front train tracks out back with a occasional train passing by and on the far side another camp and Kettle Creek where it meets the river. Kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing and atv trails all close by. Cherry springs for star gazing, have seen elk crossing the river about a mile up stream. Hyner State Park has a lookout approximately 14miles away and hang gliders in the fall with many other State parks close by. There is a restaurant across the road from Fannie with great food. This is a very quiet spot with wild animals and the sounds at night are amazing.Welcome to camp Fannie located in Westport Pa near Kettle Creek and the Susquehanna river. Primitive camping at its best. Fannie is a step up from tent camping . Fannie sits 1/2 mile from the ATV trails and you can ride your ATV to the trail. The map of the site has change alot the old Farmhouse is now down and we are working on removing it. The spot on the map photo really not as bad as the photo looks thats a very old photo. There is a outhouse with a battery operated light for inside and solar lights outside the camper and the outhouse for at night. Fannie does have electric with a hotplate, microwave and refrigerator. Fannie also has a electric heater and fan and many more extras for that just in case situation. I have unopened bottled water in refrigerator and a gallon of unopened water for coffee or cooking. The water has some mineral content but not usually noticeable. The bathroom in the camper is not for use as we have the outhouse and a solar shower. towels and washcloths. This is a great place to sit back and relax and enjoy the river or sit in the creek. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me..PLEASE NOTE SHOWER AND WATER BEING SHUT DOWN OCTOBER 21 DUE TO FREEZING TEMPERATURES AND WILL NOT BE IN SERVICE AGAIN TILL SPRING. THANK YOU.
