If you enjoy boating, swimming or fishing, Applegate Lake is a beautiful 20 minute drive south from us. In the evening, the wind picks up and it is generally 5-8 degrees cooler here than in Medford. Enjoy a glass of wine or stargazing in the sitting area outside of the trailer! We supply a "House Manual" inside the Airstream. Be sure to check this out to make the most of your time in the Airstream! We offer tips and tricks for ensuring you experience the best during your stay. You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cabin on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the creek or hiking on the property. A bridge crosses Rock Creek where you can hike to the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, teapot crockpot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and half-and-half are provided, and we usually provide fresh eggs from our happy hens plus butter in the fridge when available. The sitting area has a woodstove two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a counter/bar with views of the creek. The bathroom has a shower, sink, and portable camper toilet, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heat limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A nice wide sturdy ladder leads up to the loft upstairs which has a 4" standard foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up. A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and we encourage the use of this toilet as much as possible, and use the little camper portable toilet for midnight emergencies. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark. Our WiFi barely reaches the cabin but texting can be accomplished at the compost toilet or at the garden gate. The password is listed in the binder on the table. Most folks enjoy getting away from the internet for a while. Some games are provided.

Beautiful custom yurt set on an 82 acre nature preserve in the heart of Applegate Valley wine country. The space is private and secluded but only minutes away from wineries and 15 minutes from shopping and eateries in historic Jacksonville. There are forests and wildlife to explore on the property and access to nearby attractions like the Applegate River, Applegate Lake, Crater Lake, Cascade Siskiyou NM, Oregon Caves, Shakespeare Festival, etc. This place is truly unique and tranquil! - The yurt has three spaces- the main yurt space, the kitchen, and the bathroom. All areas have doors separating the spaces. We have electricity throughout with heating - Our main water supply is a well which is safe to drink - The bathroom has low flow flushing toilet with composting tank beneath structure and graywater system for shower, etc. Please don't flush anything but toilet paper. We provide biodegradable soap/shampoo/cleaning supplies, please use these or similar natural cleaning products when possible - We have designated spaces, next to and below, the yurt to spend time outside but feel free to explore on the property! - We have wifi available (Starlink) which is mostly reliable and consistent although occasionally it goes out for a short period of time in the evenings. Cell service can be somewhat limited, depending on your carrier. We recommend turning on wifi calling when in the yurt to help increase cell service - Jacksonville is the closest larger town (approx. 20 min drive) which has shopping, a grocery store, post office, eateries, etc. but if you need to grab something in a pinch, there is a small grocery store, hardware store, and a drive through coffee shop in Ruch (approx. 5 mins drive) from yurt. We are located approx. 30 mins from larger stores like Costco, Trader Joes, Fred Meyer, Target, etc. in Medford Animals: We allow up to 2 dogs - Dogs should be kept on leash at all times, there are many wild animals that call the property home! Our property gets frequented by deer, turkeys, lots of squirrels, and skunks. - Dog bowls, towels + blankets, and waste bags for animals are available in the yurt- please use them during your stay - We love animals and want to keep our space pet friendly. While we do not charge a pet fee, we ask that you help minimize wear and tear on our space by keeping animals off of the furniture, ensure animals don't scratch floors and furniture, and clean up excessive hair/dirt before leaving.

The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the creek or hiking on the property. A bridge crosses Rock Creek where you can hike to the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, teapot crockpot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and half-and-half are provided, and we usually provide fresh eggs from our happy hens plus butter in the fridge when available. The sitting area has a woodstove two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a counter/bar with views of the creek. The bathroom has a shower, sink, and portable camper toilet, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heat limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A nice wide sturdy ladder leads up to the loft upstairs which has a 4" standard foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up. A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and we encourage the use of this toilet as much as possible, and use the little camper portable toilet for midnight emergencies. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark. Our WiFi barely reaches the cabin but texting can be accomplished at the compost toilet or at the garden gate. The password is listed in the binder on the table. Most folks enjoy getting away from the internet for a while. Some games are provided.

Hidden Forest Get-away

Elk Haven Ranch consists of 40 acres at the base of a mountain range that is BLM federal land. There is an elk herd and of course deer on the property. This property is a haven for them, no hunting is allowed. If you are looking to throw a Frisbee with your dog in a forested and meadow setting, without tons of campers right next to you, then this is your place. Room to roam, fresh water April through September and easy access to a common electricity plug-in where you can charge your cell phones and air mattresses on the electric pole by the entry gate. If you are looking to play games, just ask us for the corn hole or horse shoes, or help yourself to the games already out and available. Let us know what your goals are and we will do our best to accommodate for your stay.

Sustainable Ecovillage is an off-grid project for sustainable living. If you are looking for a unique experience and up for rustic accommodations among goats, chickens, a permaculture food forest with a few off-grid perks, we welcome you to join us in our mountainous, wilderness paradise! Our 160-acre property is surrounded by about a million acres of National Forest. Our neighborhood is all made of trees, huckleberry bushes and animals. We love it here. It is very remote, peaceful, and functionally sustainable in its focus. The closest neighbor is a Buddhist Hermitage about a mile up the forestry road. Also, supposedly, Sasquatch live here! (it is the epicenter for documented sightings). Most visitors to the area are interested in spending time in the redwoods – we are about 30-45 minutes from the nearest entrance to Jedediah Smith Park, home of Stout Grove and other beautiful redwood hikes. Driving into Crescent City, about 45-60 minutes, winds you right through the "gentle giants" on your way to or from Redwood National Park. We are self-sufficient, and sustainable in a relatively primitive set-up, especially after the fire this year. It's mountainous and remote, and we have a community agreement about no smoking (of any kind) on our land.

Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual women's gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,200 women in just two weeks on the land. Our beautiful forested land is located in Southern Oregon, in a small town off the 199 Redwood Highway. The land which we call home is 100 acres of beautiful protected forest and sits upon a mile of the Illinois River. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a widely diverse population of flora and fauna. As caretakers of this sacred land, we feel a strong responsibility to honor our plant and animal allies by not only protecting them and their habitat, but also to help educate others about what lives and grows here by providing people with opportunities to experience the beauty of these plants and animals for themselves. For this reason, We are honored to host the many different groups who will gather here on this land for learning and communing with the nature that flourishes here. We feel very fortunate to be involved in this process of helping promote a sustainable and abundant future for all living things on this planet by sharing knowledge and skills from the human past that can make a sustainable lifestyle a reality for everyone everywhere. Short hiking trails (watch out for poison oak!). Best for tenting, smaller RV's, tree tents, or rooftop tents. >100 yards from nearest structure. 3 nights max except by private arrangement. NO smoking/vaping/marijuana. NO wood fires, but propane fire-ring is available -- bring your own propane tank or pay $5 extra to use my propane tank if available.
