Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Juniper Pines is our family's 2 acre, peaceful, rustic, uninhabited getaway in Central Oregon. It is 7 minutes North of The Prineville Reservoir and 12 minutes South of the Town of Prineville. The property is flat and situated on a corner, and is best suited for dry campers who want a peaceful experience away from others all to themselves as there is no host living on site. The center area is cleared of trees, has a rustic fire pit in the center, with trees surrounding the perimeter of the property. The adjacent property to the side has no buildings or tenants, adding to your sense of privacy, while the adjacent property to the rear has year round, live in quiet tenants. In the summer, we bring our boat, kayaks, paddle boards, jeep, and boat and use them in the surrounding waterways and on the nearby public use BLM land. Or bring your family's fishing poles and take the kids to the local Youth Fishing Pond or nearby Haystack Reservoir that are both stocked year-round with trout. There is plenty of room on the property to bring your kayaks or boat if you plan to use the local waterways. Be sure to try Grannies for local treats just a few minutes away, for special coffee drinks and food you are bound to love, or if you need ice or a quick breakfast burrito. Be sure to run into town and stop in at Tastee Treet, for the best milk shakes and burgers around! And- if you like micro brews or cider's in a very laid-back open-air fire side setting, stop by the Wild Ride Brewery in Prineville for a truly epic outdoor family friendly experience. While you are there, grab some delicious food at the on-site food carts! We haven't been able to use our property as much as we would like, so our family getaway camp spot is now open to share with others. We hope you enjoy this location, the privacy, and ability to camp with a larger group all by yourselves. I hope you get to enjoy all the things that we love to do without having to share outdoor space right next to others or struggle to find an open reservation!Park your RV wherever you like, and have a truly disconnected- from- the- busy world ALL TO YOURSELF dry camping experience. This 2 acre, flat piece of land is surrounded by Juniper trees in the PLA2 neighborhood, just 7 minutes from The Prineville Reservoir, and 12 minutes South of the City of Prineville. The middle of Juniper Pines is cleared of trees and the property rests on a quiet corner. We like to park our trailer to the right side, about halfway back when you enter the rustic driveway, nearest to the deck that backs up to another undeveloped 2 acres because it feels the most private.  Take a morning walk or bike ride in the area, and you may meet a distant neighbor or two, or nearby horses. Several lakes and reservoirs are close by for fishing, kayaking, or boating fun. Lake Billy is about a 50 minute drive and provides tons of fun summer things to do. If you have friends with their own self-contained trailer that you would like to camp with together, or would like to camp as a group, I am flexible on how many RVs can stay at once, as long as you all are in the same group. Generators are welcome, as there are no utilities on site. Some roads in the neighborhood are paved and a few are gravel, but they are all accessible by vehicles. The deck can be used as you like, and while pets are always welcome, please be sure to clean up after them, ensure they are contained and that dogs do not bark excessively. In the evenings, you may see the local deer family that strolls through the property so please be friendly to the wildlife. You are welcome to bring a propane fire pit or bbq but please do not leave unattended. The specific site address will be provided 48 hours prior to your scheduled booking and I am always available to answer any questions you may have.  Also, there is a local waste water dump station near the fairgrounds in Prineville about 12 minutes away.

Juniper Pines Private RV Camping
Very good space to set up and explore the town. Would definitely come back to the same space. Private, and calm area. I recommend the petting zoo near by :)

Juniper Pines Private RV Camping
Easy to find, nice flat spot to park the trailer and a big fire pit. It was exactly as described.

Juniper Pines Private RV Camping
It was a spacious, level area with a turnaround that was partially gravel, but largely loose, dry dirt. The sparse trees gave a sense of privacy from the scattered houses and trailers nearby. There was a free-standing deck that was very convenient. It was a peaceful place to enjoy the big night sky.

Juniper Pines Private RV Camping
I was last minute late night in booking at Lone Pines but then found closer camping so I actually never made it to Line Pines. I wanted to comment that Mandy responded immediately by text and it was a relief to know I had a place to stay with short notice and courteous communication. Hoping next time I’m in the area to visit. ☺️
