Cedar Bloom

157 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents100 acres · Cave Junction, OR
Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual women's gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,200 women in just two weeks on the land. Our beautiful forested land is located in Southern Oregon, in a small town off the 199 Redwood Highway. The land which we call home is 100 acres of beautiful protected forest and sits upon a mile of the Illinois River. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a widely diverse population of flora and fauna. As caretakers of this sacred land, we feel a strong responsibility to honor our plant and animal allies by not only protecting them and their habitat, but also to help educate others about what lives and grows here by providing people with opportunities to experience the beauty of these plants and animals for themselves. For this reason, We are honored to host the many different groups who will gather here on this land for learning and communing with the nature that flourishes here. We feel very fortunate to be involved in this process of helping promote a sustainable and abundant future for all living things on this planet by sharing knowledge and skills from the human past that can make a sustainable lifestyle a reality for everyone everywhere. This is our home and we are happy to share it with you!

Forested creekside campsite

1 site · RV, Tent72 acres · Grants Pass, OR
Hey there!  I'm a single dad with 2 teen-kids, medical professional, who enjoys country living and sharing it with others.  I've lived in far-Northern CA and Southern Oregon my whole life, except for school/training, so State of Jefferson is my home.  We bought this land in 2017, when it was just brush, poison oak, and a rotten bridge.   Learn more about this land:Campsite on 72 acres along beautiful Jumpoff Joe Creek.  Shaded, adjacent to romantically lighted timber-frame private covered bridge (no traffic).  Very secluded, but only 1/2 mile from I-5 (no freeway noise, though).  Private "beach" area and kid-friendly water play area with wild creatures (turkey, deer, fish, crayfish, water striders, turtles, frogs, etc.). Picnic table, tent spots, and fresh water spigot.  Short hiking trails (watch out for poison oak!).  Best for tenting, smaller RV's, tree tents, or rooftop tents.  >100 yards from nearest structure. 3 nights max except by private arrangement.    NO smoking/vaping/marijuana.  NO wood fires, but propane fire-ring is available -- bring your own propane tank or pay $5 extra to use my propane tank if available.  Good cell service from Google Fi/USCellular.  WiFi available on porch of owner's house by request.

Creekside Campground

4 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Rogue River, OR
Hi we’re Lindsay and Tommy, we are in our third season of being Hipcamp hosts and we want to share our beautiful property with campers looking for a quiet, cozy, family oriented experience. We took our love for the outdoors to the next level a few years ago when we moved out to the country. We think we found a gem of a spot on Evans Creek in Southern Oregon. Our years of camping adventures in dispersed countryside, state parks filled to capacity, and private campgrounds has given us a unique appreciation for the outdoors and an outlook on family camping you just might enjoy. We always enjoyed the camaraderie and kindness that we found with fellow campers; so we just figured, why not make our own campsites and share them with like minded folks and families. We love it here, and we hope you will too. In this third year we have made some changes to our campground. We have removed site #3 because in order to offer a truly different campground experience, we want to limit the amount of campers that are here and by removing this site, the remaining sites all are neighbor free. Enjoy your campfire, enjoy your view, enjoy some space to yourself. We feel that less people in the camp ground is easier for families as well. Hope you enjoy your camp spot! We are located in Evans Valley just 5 miles off interstate 5. Our Property boasts of mature shade trees along Evans Creek, tranquil locations on the creek bed and a plethora of wildlife year round. Our secure, family friendly location is perfect for a road trip stop over or as a base camp for your other Southern Oregon Adventures. All sites have their own access to the Creek - so no one will be going through your site, and all campers have access to the common areas without going through your site either...so rest easy, and relax at the Creekside Campground. -Things to know before booking- Our mission is to provide a safe, quiet, fun, and family friendly camping experience. Please review the rules section carefully and make sure the experience you are looking for lines up with what we are offering. Drunken behavior, drug use, and partying are not part of what we offer and that behavior will be removed immediately (luckily, we have not had this situation, we just like to be very clear on our expectations.) Swimming Hole! Our property has one of the best private swimming holes on Evans creek and stays cool most of the summer (depending on mother nature); the creek is always a favorite to put your chain in and relax with your feet in the water. Shallow and deep areas are fun for all age groups. Watch out for wildlife! Elk, deer, eagles, heron, turtles, ducks, and geese (to name a few) are regulars to your campsite. A covered wash station is provided for giving those wiped out dishes a final rinse. Water spigots with delicious well water are provided at each camp spot. Trash can and a porta-potty (serviced regularly) is tucked away in the common area. Horseshoes is set up for anyone to enjoy, and feel free to bring your own yard game activities. Our large open meadow, available for all of our campers, is about an acre of fun for stargazing, softball, bocci ball, frisbee, catch, and hanging out. Also we have a shady game area set up next to the meadow under the oaks with corn hole, giant jenga and some water misters to beat the heat - enjoy as you will! All sites have the option to add a tent and additional people, just check out the "extras" when booking. If you want to keep up to date with all things happening at the Creekside Campground, like special events, projects, upgrades, and of course wildlife be sure to follow us on Instagram @creekside_hosts Whether your floating the Rogue, wine tasting, mountain biking, ziplining, or passing through on a family vacation, we have the safe, spacious, campsite for you, your friends, and family. Hope to meet you soon.

Camp Shalom

3 sites · Lodging, RVs2 acres · New Hope, OR
Peace (Shalom) is what you will find on our property. We have two wonderful listings on this 1 1/2 acres of shady trees, cool, quiet mornings and precious wild life. At the time of writing this, we have a momma and her two fawns, a young buck that likes to rest behind our shop, three different turkeys with their young ones in tow, song birds galore, lively grey squirrels and the occasional bunny running through. Most of them love to come to our apple tree where we always leave them water in the summer. People who have stayed here always rave about the beautiful and idyllic setting. We are just getting started on HipCamp, but we have lots of great reviews from Airbnb and Vrbo if you want to check out what others have said. Just look up our properties under the same heading we have here on HipCamp, but make sure you come back and reserve it here! :)

Creekside Cabin in Williams, OR

1 site · Lodging11 acres · Williams, OR
You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cabin on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the creek or hiking on the property. A bridge crosses Rock Creek where you can hike to the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, teapot crockpot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and half-and-half are provided, and we usually provide fresh eggs from our happy hens plus butter in the fridge when available. The sitting area has a woodstove two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a counter/bar with views of the creek. The bathroom has a shower, sink, and portable camper toilet, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heat limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A nice wide sturdy ladder leads up to the loft upstairs which has a new 8" full memory foam with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up. A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and we encourage the use of this toilet as much as possible, and use the little camper portable toilet for midnight emergencies. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark. Our WiFi barely reaches the cabin but texting can be accomplished at the compost toilet or at the garden gate. The password is listed in the binder on the table. Most folks enjoy getting away from the internet for a while. Some games are provided.

Serene Spot for Design Lovers

2 sites · RVs, Tents7 acres · Jacksonville, OR
When I closed my Glamping Business in Big Sur, CA, in 2016 I was looking for a new place to call home and the universe told me to check out Southern Oregon. Being German, I fell in love with the Applegate Valley because it reminds me of the German Alp Region of Algovia ("Allgaeu"). We are a tiny community here on my 7 acres of land including a couple of sweet dogs. My favorite spot ever since I discovered this property has been the barn and I have finished renovating it during Covid Lockdown. I am looking forward to hosting people who love nature and the quiet, who would like to unplug from the urban bustle and who have a passion for design and unconventional living spaces. I think you will love staying here and enjoying the amenities that are waiting for you. I look forward to welcoming you! Learn more about this land: Mountain Views on Private Property in the Heart of the Applegate Valley. Only minutes drive from restaurants, Canytrall Buckley Park with River Access, The Applegate Lake (Swimming, Paddleboarding), Hiking Trails, Wineries, a small supermarket and a famous paragliding spot. Come park your camper van or trailer on my 7 acre property. I am an Interior Designer and have converted the former mule Barn into an Outdoor Summer Living Space with dining room, living room, kitchen and patio. Attached to  the barn are an outdoor shower with hot water as well as a composting toilet.  Al Fresco Dining, Showers in the Sunset and occasional outdoor movie nights are waiting for you here on the Hill in the beautiful Applegate Valley. If you play the guitar, feel free to bring it along, we have had fun times with small gatherings in the evenings on the patio. Please note: I live here and so you will see me around daily, usually I tend the gardens or you can find me around the barn. However, I will respect your privacy! The dogs who live on the property are usually free roaming and they will for sure come visit you, they are all friendly. I am emphasizing this, because if you are scared of dogs, are not used to dogs or do not like dogs, my place (unfortunately) might not be the right spot for you :-(.
