Learn more about our land: In the heart of Willamette Valley AVA and on a breezy 20-acre lot of land we provide a space for you to set yourself up and enjoy life's natural bounty. We offer a small shared space with a wood fire stove and some essential items, many games (such as horseshoes), and lots of picnic areas and tables sprinkled throughout the property. The location is central and half an hour to just minutes away from water bodies Hagg Lake, Nestucca River, Yamhill River, little Niagara Falls, Mill Creek, Baker Creek, Rainbow Lake and more… Such as the Carlton public pool. If your looking to jaunt from camp a little further, we are located a little over an hour and a beautiful drive to the Pacific Coast and about an hour from Portland. Although in the middle of the country woods, we are surprisingly only two and a half miles from the adorable and quaint town of Carlton. So beside the views, you’ll be alongside some fantastic eateries and outstanding winemakers.  Being raised in the community, and over ten years of experience in the local food and wine industry, I can give recommendations aplenty.   ꕥ  The property has been in our family since the late 60’s and has recently been transferred in ownership to the next generation! It’s been a large adjustment with many precious memories in tow. In hopes to carry on the legacy we opened up camp mid-summer 2021, and it’s a work in progress (as work normally is!), but has been a beautiful experience being in a position to share. There are two family homes on the property with people who truly admire this land we have been given so we do ask you to respect our process in this adjustment, as we miss our grandparents and parents who have worked their entire lives for us to be here. With the work of these past couple seasons, and thanks to our fellow campers, we have been able to lay more gravel, get a more fluid bathroom situation established, and have purchased a 20ft stargazing tent that is in the works of being listed this season! So thank you for your support in this venture and in any form, I’m excited to be apart of your adventure and hope to see you in our neck of the woods soon! ❊ ❁ ❊  - WhitneyIn the heart of Willamette Valley AVA and on a breezy 20 acre lot of land we provide a space for you to set yourself up and enjoy life's natural bounty. Winter get away
We loved all the rustic charm of the property. It has an ultra laid back and easy feel to it. We had it all to ourselves in the winter season. We enjoyed the view, local wineries and having a place where our dogs could frolic. Whitney is a most Gracious and attentive host! Watch out for the mud on the loop around the glass house during the winter it’s very slick!

Mossy Oak
Nice little getaway close to home. Very secluded during the off season. We enjoyed the moss covered trees and foggy backdrop. Some light rain didn’t bother us. The driveway onto the property sneaks up on you so slow down. Some very cool spots for group camping and activities we will keep in mind for the future. Thank you Whitney!

Great spot in wine country
Great spot in Oregon wine country! Lots of communication from Whitney up front and then we had the place to ourselves for a long weekend with some friends. .

Roads on site are a bit rough. Storing RVs on site is a bit odd. Price higher that most campsites.

This camp site fit our needs for a single night to save on a hotel. It was super quiet. This is my first Hipcamp experience, so wasn’t sure what to expect. If you are looking for more amenities, you may want to check out other options. It was clean, and quiet, but not fancy. I would recommend getting there before sunset. We got there after dark, and we took the first spot we came to. There were other, better spots in the trees that would likely have been better. Overall, it was fine and again fit our needs.
