Camp right on the Applegate river with us and enjoy the song of water on the rocks! Relax into the end-of-the-road privacy while still being 10 min to Grants Pass and 5 min to the nearest convenience store. We are a large family of colorful people and animals living on the Applegate River outside of Grants Pass, a little up river from the merge with the Rogue River.
We have 5 acres of grass and conifers, with some madrone and oak and of course the big leaf maple. We have several fire pits and places to camp in tents, hammocks, or RVs. We have delicious well water and fire wood stocked.
We are open to animals, but there are free range chickens and cats, as well as small children. Let's not have any accidents.Listen to the sound of the Applegate River as you fall asleep in your car hammock tent sleeping bag. Wake up to geese and deer and turkeys and maybe the ducks or blue heron who frequent the island or the big eddy nearby. During some seasons we have the sweat lodge up and some we do not. We have wood on site.
The property is at the end of a private road and has river frontage and the fog that comes with that. Old madrones and oaks share the land with some huge douglas pines and plenty of saplings. You can fish here and we are close to hiking and town. There is a store and a dispensary close by.
