Quietly nestled on the southwestern edge of the Adirondacks in the town of Stratford, settle in for an authentic upstate New York camping experience. Surrounded by 6 million acres of public land, you can find something to appease any outdoor enthusiast! Fulton County boasts 44 Lakes and the outdoor activities that compliment them such as boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, and camping. Adventure awaits you on our bicycle and hiking trails; play on an array of golf courses; explore our many museums and historic sites, and family attractions; patronize our local farm markets and agritourism venues. Winter adventure includes ice fishing, downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Pull out of your campsite with your favorite ATV or UTV, and spend the day riding over 100 miles of local backwoods. Hitch your kayak and take a 2 minute drive up to the boat launch, and paddle through what we call Stewarts Landing which is the 2 mile stretch of flat water carrying the outflow of Canada, West and Lilly Lakes. Take a tour of our homestead, meet our chickens and cuddle our bunnies. Fresh eggs and garden veggies available seasonally. WiFi available near main house, but cell reception on road and surrounding area is very limited. ***WE HAVE OUTDOOR LIVESTOCK GUARDIAN DOGS*** They sometimes bark at the night to keep us and you safe from everything.Secluded forest campsite offers quiet private time, with room to erect 2 tents. Fire pit and 1 bundle of wood (additional available for purchase) will be provided for you alongside a bench and table for comfort. There is no cellphone reception or WiFi available at campsite allowing you to really disconnect. 420 friendly
