The campsite was just like Ben described, perfect, quiet and private and the beach was just a short walk away and very quiet. The children absolutely loved the water and it was hard to leave! Ben let us check out later and was so accommodating. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Private Camping/Lake Superior Beach
Ben’s lot offers the privacy of a woodland setting and is a very short walk to an amazing sandy beach with clear blue waters.
Ben offered us an extra night at no charge and we’re glad we took him up on his kind offer as we saw the most colourful sunset of the trip on our last night! We’ll definitely come back.

Note! This site is not ON the beach, we made that misunderstanding. It is however, Quiet, private, and the beach access is beautiful and not too far a walk.

We did a quick stopover at Ben's spot to split up our Lake Superior trip. It was such a great and private area to relax. The 2min walk to the private beach was spectacular. Sunset was amazing!

Quick overnight stop. Super easy to find with Google Maps and Ben’s directions. Beautiful drive off the highway through cottage country. Site is level and secluded by trees with a short 2 min walk to the beach which is absolutely stunning. Went and had coffee on the shore in the morning and did not see a soul while I was there. It was perfect.

We loved renting on Bens property! Great privacy and a lovely private beach for use. We had great fun over the long weekend and 100% plan to come back. No highway traffic or car noise. Seen the northern lights & lots of stars. Wonderful!

Private Camping/Lake Superior Beach
Bens space was perfect for our group of 4 people and 3 dogs! We had so much space for our tents and vehicles, and tons of space for the pups to play and relax. We could hear the lake, even though it was a 3-5 min walk. We had beautiful weather, and there was lots of shade as well as sun! The tall trees surrounding the lot provided tons of privacy for our stay as well. The private beach was incredible, as were the local residents we met! Everyone was very welcoming. We would certainly come back! Thank you, Ben, for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Lake Superior trip with our dogs.

Private Camping/Lake Superior Beach
Our group of 4 plus 3 dogs came to Superior Lake to do some of the coastal trail and we ended up getting humbled by it and leaving a couple days early. Ben’s lot came in clutch, as we had no other accommodations set up and we were able to set up camp quickly. The lot is mostly sand, with a fire pit and surrounded by all kinds of beautiful trees. Takes literally 1.5 minutes to get to the beach. There are some neighbours with cottages/homes/trailers nearby that you can see, but they are a good distance away from the lot, so that you do have decent privacy. Everyone we met there were kind, but please be respectful of the beach, as they really care about the land (and you should too).
