Welcome to our cabins in the woods at Villa Vida Loca, in beautiful Sunderland, Ontario! Our tiny cabins are tucked away in the woods on our gorgeous, private 10-acre property in the heart of North Durham. We offer a unique glamping experience with all the benefits of camping, but with a roof over your head, floor under your feet and super cool amenities. Please read our full listings before requesting a booking. If you’re unsure about something, just ask. We’re very laid back, approachable and inclusive people, and can’t wait to welcome you. Nearby We’re surrounded by Beaverton on Lake Simcoe, Port Perry on Lake Scugog and Uxbridge (the Trail Capital of Canada), which are a close driving distance away. Around the corner from us, the Beaver River Wetland Trail (part of the Trans Canada Trail) is the perfect place for a hike or bike ride. There’s lots of other exciting things to do and see in the surrounding areas – fabulous restaurants, breweries and wineries, top golf courses, beaches, fishing, watersports, agri-tourism experiences, events and more. Upon your arrival, we’ll provide you with an up-to-date list of recommendations based on the season.

Cabaña de Amor (The Love Shack)
We had a great time. It was just like what we wanted, and the best part was the hot tub in the stormy weather at midnight. It’s a nice place for a getaway for a couple!!

Relax and cozy camping :)
Super friendly host and lovely place to stay. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. Cozy and peaceful cabin in the wood :)

Great a-frame for camping! Really lovely and clean, only 1.5 hours from downtown Toronto. Would recommend for a weekend away

We loved the the cozy cabin. Brian was a great host and met us upon arrival and showed us around the property and the market that operates throughout the summer months. The location is not that far from the city, yet you feel like you are in the wilderness. We can’t wait to go back in the warmer months to check out the market. It was great for us as we are avid tent campers so having 4 walls, a floor and heat was a bonus. The weekend we stayed was rainy but that didn’t dampen our spirits. We jumped in the hot tub and enjoyed the rainy afternoon in there! Thanks again Brian and Ann for your hospitality. We will see you this summer!

La Cabaña at Villa Vida Loca
Everything was perfect. All the details were there; heater, coffee maker, bbq grill, sensor lights turn on which enlighten the path on night. I suggest everyone to visit the place.
