We have a small pond where we feed some pretty big catfish. We prefer you catch and release as the squeals that come from our grandchildren when they catch a big one is priceless to us. We offer both open pasture area which allows you to see for miles away or some beautiful shaded areas for enjoying our nice breezy days.

Property is a few minutes away from downtown Denison, 15 minutes from Lake Texoma and broader restaurant/shopping selections in Sherman, and 20 minutes from Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK.

This property has been in my family for 5 generations. There was a house and a cabin on it at one time, but now it just has the old cemetery and a small corral. The cemetery is notable, it being the final resting place of Wilson N. Jones (1827-1901), principal chief of the Choctaw Nation. Learn more about this land:Have a great stay. This is the first time my folks have let anyone stay on the farm. So please be respectful of the land. No trash/litter. You can see the stars at night in a way that is impossible in the cities. It’s really worth the drive. Perhaps bring a telescope! There are the remnants of long gone houses and a worn out barn. Interesting to look at. But be careful, your car might get stuck unless it has 4x4. There is a creek that runs along the backside to the South of the property. Sometimes it has water, sometimes not, depends on how much rain we’re getting. We only allow one camping party at a time, this ensures you get to enjoy the property undisturbed. It is primitive camping, no services, no facilities. Bring in everything you need, take out everything you brought.

Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake! The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods. In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. Our staff works really hard to make sure everything is perfect for your stay and we can’t guarantee it will be if you arrive before then. Parking, we work really hard to keep our property beautiful. If they are not at The PARK at Brushy Creek, we invite you to come see them at the property with the big green gate across the road. There is no electric or wi-fi on property currently. All lighting is solar, or battery powered. There is water spigot at tent site and a Port-o-let near the tent area. This is the Country we and our neighbors have livestock and dogs that may bleat, bark, oink, moo, neigh, squeal, whinny, bray, or whine anytime day or night. We are located 1-hour North of Dallas Fort Worth, 30 minutes from McKinney, Sherman, or Greenville, 10 miles to Leonard, Whitewright, and Bonham and just five miles from Trenton. Two lakes are in close proximity, Lake Bonham and Lake Texoma.
