Unplug by the beautiful Stewiacke river and stay in your own canvas tent with fire pit. This glamping site is across the road from the main house and secluded by trees. Enjoy access to the river and a peaceful sleep under the starry night sky. Camping items are provided (see detailed list under kitchen amenities). Groceries, liquor store, gas station and Bev's County Diner are a 2 minute drive down the road. Burnside and Butcherhill falls are great spots to explore nearby. This site is excellent for folks who enjoy camping, but don't have camping equipment or are looking to sleep more comfortably. There is little cell service and no electricity. You can drive to the site but it is recommended that small cars that are low to the ground park in our driveway and guests walk-in. We can arrange to drive you down beforehand if that is something you would prefer.Unplug by the beautiful Stewiacke river and stay in your own canvas tent with fire pit. Canvas Tent on Stewiacke River
Quiet unplugged time
I loved this tent on the river! It was clean, the area was quiet, and the view was peaceful and picturesque. A bonus is there are lots of trails and waterfalls around. Be prepared for no cell service. The mosquitos were nuts, so the bug tent was greatly appreciated, but definitely recommend packing lots of bug repellent! Will definitely be back and recommend this place to friends looking for a quiet unplugged time away from everything.

Pristine and relaxing experience
Such a relaxing space! After a fun short drive down to the site I popped into the tent and immediately felt like it was a mini home-away-from-home. Not only was the tent in pristine condition, it was equipped with all my camping needs so I could enjoy my dinner and night at the campfire. The sounds of birds added to the ambiance, which was topped by the fireflies glowing as night fell. I’d love to come back for another getaway!

Canvas Tent on Stewiacke River
There was room for tents, the yurt was large and inviting, and we were provided a kitchen tent as an area to cook. The river was very pretty, and we would definitely recommend this as a place to return to in the summer!

Missing Barn Farm!
Such a beautiful and romantic experience on the Stewiacke river! This private site came with EVERYTHING you could possibly need when camping, as well as anything you may have forgotten. This was the perfect spot to unplug from the busy world and reset in a tranquil environment with my SO. After visiting Benjamin Bridge winery in the valley, we settled into the camp with a cozy fire onlooking the river. The sunset was immaculate across the farm fields, and the birds make the perfect alarm clock for a relaxing and easy morning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a secluded swim spot/paddle board location, or summer retreat from the city! Makes for the sweetest getaway!! Thank you to the friendly and accommodating hosts for sharing this special spot, the farm fresh eggs, and the wonderful recommendations to visit some local waterfalls! Burnside falls and fantom falls did not disappoint!
