At present we will only be offering 15 self contained sites, so plenty of space not to be on top of each other. We (the owners) live on-site, about a three minute walk from the Van sites. We have also started a little coffee shop at our main camp so you can find us there most days. We are located just 8km from Wangi Falls, one of Litchfield's largest and most iconic waterfalls. For most of the year it is open for swimming. There are also several other smaller water holes nearby. Most water attractions are accessible by car. If you do have a 4WD be sure to go off-road to visit the amazing, less accessible sites.

Darwin is the gateway to the amazing Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. There are many popular waterfront areas with several beaches including Lee Point and Casuarina. While sightseeing, make sure you visit the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, The War Museum and Aviation Museum. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are some good fishing and biking trails. We are located on a 5-acre block in the Northern Suburbs. The top 2 acres are laid out in a tropical garden setting, with the other 3 acres set out with native Darwin plants visited by lots of native animals and birds. We have a variety of native birds on the property and are close by to local bird watch areas. You'll feel like you're a whole world away yet you will only be 2 minutes from the supermarket, 5 minutes from a large shopping centre, and 15 minutes from Darwin's CBD. We are a small boutique site and only have 5 powered sites and 8 non powered sites on the 5 acres. Your site is private and you will be able to enjoy your stay without interference from others. The property has a secured gate that requires fob access and a security entrance camera. IMPORTANT: Each site can accommodate 2 adults MAX. If you have 3 or 4 adults, you will need to book two sites. Please note The Bounganvillea site is open all year round and has a concrete base. Other sites are dependant on weather and access.

Alice Springs is as famous for the personality of its locals and contemporary and traditional art as the natural wonders, including the stunning Larapinta Trail and the MacDonnell Ranges, which surround it. The Swag Inn camping spot has access to an outdoor shower and toilet and laundry sink. Enjoy the view of the ranges and the amazing stars in the desert night sky from your campsite. Listen to the bird calls and enjoy the peace. Campers are welcome to enjoy the BBQ Firepit and firewood, within local restrictions. Around town, there are numerous sites of historical significance to the region’s settler history, including the Old Telegraph Station Reserve, which marks the town’s important role as the mid-point of the 19th-century telegraph line running from Adelaide to Darwin. We had a lovely stay at Robyn’s at the Ellengowan Retreat. Robyn was available an ensured you had everything you needed. Away from the busyness of Dundee Beach, yet close enough to travel in. Nice shaded camp ground. The amenities were well thought out (clean bathrooms, hot water and great water pressure), a camp kitchen (which was well stocked - pots/pans/bbq/fridge/kettle/tea/coffee/milk), not something you would generally expect so a nice surprise. A small spa, which was ideal for a refreshing afternoon dip. More importantly, no road noise, no suburban lights affecting the night sky and waking up to the calls of the kookaburras. A real oasis.
