Your own private, 1 acre of fully fenced vacant land to set up camp, the second street back from the beach. No one lives on this property, you'll have the site to yourself. You can fish at the jetty, off the beach, or in the two creeks close by..or go bush walking and explore. Hokey's Camp Site Wagait Beach
It was our second time staying here. Fabulous private camping spot, it was very hot (middle of the wet season without any rain) so the shower in the ensuite was greatly appreciated. Love the set up and various outdoor cooking options. No doubt we'll be back again ☺️

Peaceful beach stay
We had a fabulous time over the weekend at Hockeys campsite. Absolutely loved being the only van on the property which gave us plenty of freedom and space for the kids to explore. A quick walk away from the beach was the highlight of the Hipcamp. Great outdoor area for cooking and awesome bathroom facilities. We loved our stay

GREAT BASE CAMP FOR EXPLORING
Hokey's Camp was a welcome addition to our travels. Secure 1 acre block with a shelter (that we used as a camp kitchen) with its own bathroom attached. After roadside free camping felt like the Hilton. Lovely shady block with power and water and only a short ferry ride to Darwin City...you can visit it but don't have to live in it. The Cox Peninsula has lots of lovely places to visit and Hokey's was a great base camp. Steve was very helpful and answered any questions we had promptly. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want peace and quiet and security for your gear.

Lovely slice of paradise
Such a great shady site with loads of space. Toilet and shower were great. A really central location to explore the beaches and visit the Coz Club for lunch a great price for the stay. We will be back.
