Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Wallace Meadows Farm is no doubt a special place. Established in 2012, Richard and Tisha built their home on the farm so they could run the everyday operations of Wallace Meadows Farm. They have since added an Airbnb, which is two bedrooms, two baths, living room, kitchen, with washer and dryer, They provide their guest with excellent customer service and go above and beyond to make every guest stay a memorable one. With booking of The Guest House at Wallace Meadows Farm you get to enjoy the newly built Sauna and Gym along with enjoying the firepit, horseshoes, and the table under the pergola. You can also help the farmer feed the cows, chickens and fish. Now we have recently added Campsite at Wallace Meadows Farm on the Trent River.  The Campsite is on the Trent River at the backside of Wallace Meadows Farm and is complete with fire pit, chairs, bench, picnic table, charcoal grill, and Dogi Pot (so you can kindly clean up after your dog).  Firewood, Charcoal, S'mores kits and Fresh Eggs available for purchase at The Campsite. Kayaks are available for rent. Fishing and hiking on the 1.1mile trail around the farm. There is a 1.1 mile walking trail around the property, catch and release pond, and fishing by the river.  You can also schedule visiting our Fodder Room and feeding the cows by emailing us.  Fodder Room booking available from November thru February .  Visit Wallace Meadows Farm website and contact us via email.

Site 4 - RV campsite At Wallace Meadows Farm
Very nice campsites at the back of the property. The RV sites each have water and 50amp service. Sites 1 and 2 are pull through without sewer hookup. Sites 3 and 4 are back in with full hookups. The way the sites are show on the map are opposite from the way they are. Site 1 is furthest from the bathhouse with a clear view of the cow pasture. Site 4 is closest to the bathhouse. The bathhouse is one of the nicest I've ever seen. Very clean.

Site 3 - RV campsite At Wallace Meadows Farm
Very nice place we enjoyed it very much! It was very clean. The only things I would say is when the tent camper came in I did not feel comfortable going dow to the water because I might interfere with their time.

Site 3 - RV campsite At Wallace Meadows Farm
Great spot! We loved the quiet feel of the farm. Had everything we needed. We were very impressed with the bathrooms and made our lives much easier! Richard was a great host and we enjoyed getting to purchase some beef as well!

Site 3 - RV campsite At Wallace Meadows Farm
20 min from town = farm life
We stayed at site 3. A few things to note - there were full hookups available at this site, even though it was not advertised. The sites are very close together, just FYI. Our drivers side slide basically came right to the edge of our neighbors patio. All 4 of the RV sites are back in. I don’t think that was clear in the listing. The “west” gate entrance is not marked at the street and is easily missed - especially when it’s dark. You’ll have to drive 2 miles to turn around. There seem to be 2 sites that are being occupied by full timers - this was a first that we encountered at a Hipcamp. Not a huge deal breaker - but since you’re out on someone’s property, it’s worth noting. The bathhouse was super clean, and so was the laundry room. Wi-Fi was available for free, and was awesome. If you need a restaurant or groceries other than a very small selection, you’ll need to drive 20 minutes/20 miles to Kinston or New Bern. If you plan to arrive late - make sure you have your own provisions and bring a flashlight so you can see :) We were there for a softball tournament so we didn’t get to experience anything on the farm.
