Our property is a private 25 acre forestry plot connected to an adjoining 130 acre family-owned plot, with only 1 house on the 150+ acres. Most of the land is wooded with a couple large fields. Long private driveway. 3+ miles of private maintained walking trails great for human and dog guests! There are a number of creeks that run on the property and a decent size pond with many species of birds- perfect for watching while having a morning coffee, or for an afternoon stint of fishing. Close proximity to downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill (12-15 minutes), 15 minutes to downtown Hillsborough, and 25 minutes to Durham.Pitch a tent or bring your camper to our private but centrally located forestry acreage in Chapel Hill, NC. Drive into town for dinner or drinks, then relax in the great outdoors for the evening and your morning coffee. Walk around our 3+ miles of private trails with your canine companion and do a spot of fishing or bird watching while you're at it. Our house is a 3 minute walk away and we're happy to show you around a bit or leave you to complete privacy.

Tent Camping with the Pups!
I loved tent camping with my two dogs here. There is plenty of space and the trails are so well maintained and enjoyable. Frog and Newt frolicked and ran and enjoyed some perfect spring weather. Easy to get to and from Chapel Hill and Carrboro. Very quiet. Bekah met us and was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Wild and free oasis
This place was the perfect oasis in the heart of it all, nestled in a beautiful, well-maintained forest with plenty of space to stretch out and relax in nature. The open field was large for the kids to run around freely and even a few paths that gave the kids a slight sense of independence to explore while still being in sight of the camping spot-we parked at the far side of the long field near the trees which was set back at such a great distance from the hosts’ home that I wouldn’t have even guessed there was a home there. The space allowed us to feel completely isolated and rejuvenated from the hustle and bustle of city life. We felt very safe and loved that the walking trails were very well-maintained and extremely easy to follow as to not feel lost at all in the vast wilderness. It had rained the previous day before our arrival, but the ground where we parked was high and dry and ready for us to camp without getting soggy. Bekah was super friendly and welcoming-will absolutely be back again, such a blessing for their family to share their peaceful space with us dreamers.

One of a Kind
This camping spot is one of the best I’ve been too. Easy to find and very clean, the spot we chose was secluded and private. Even though we didn’t use the fire pit, it would be awesome for roasting up some brats or warming up.
