Spacious, level camping well-suited for travel trailers over 40 ft long.

Mini-campground with full hook-ups and level parking. Our two RV sites are located along a quiet country road, bordered by hay fields and a nearby creek. Each site is outfitted with 50 amp shore power electrical, filtered well-water, septic hook-up and aerial WiFi. Both sites are situated under a light tree canopy and provide partial shade throughout the day. The Rhymer Roost is located ten miles from downtown Asheville NC. Nearby attractions include the Blue Ridge Parkway - 16 miles, French Broad River - 7 miles, The Biltmore Estate - 15 miles, Smokey Mountain National Park - 65 miles, and numerous Western North Carolina waterfalls.Heron way is our only pull-through campsite and can accomadate motorhomes and travel trailer RV's up to 38' in length. With level parking, full hook ups and aerial Wifi.

Heron Way

Quiet and close to Asheville

We enjoyed our stay at Heron Bay Hipcamp site. Convenient location to doing the Asheville area and Blue Ridge Parkway. It was quiet and had nice views of an open field with visiting deer. We were greeted by Shannon upon arrival and felt very welcome there. The pull through site was close to the road, but had very little traffic, so not an issue. It easily accommodated our 32 ft 5er and truck. I would highly recommend staying here.

The pull thru is right off the street, but the country road is so quiet you don't notice. Beautiful countryside, quiet and peaceful.

Country camping with full hookups

Nice little semi private property w 50amp and sewer. Facing a field w deer crossing through. Good place to run your puppy and leads down to a pretty stream. Very close to the road so we had to keep the dog on his lead but otherwise clean, safe and quiet. Was even able to get an Uber to go down to Asheville for some music. Couple nice little breweries down the road as well. Shannon was very easy to communicate with. Would recommend.

RV Camping Oasis

Quiet and convenient

Quiet setting and very friendly hosts. You are next to the road, therefore you have good access but the road is not busy at all so you have convenience without the noise. If you have a 30-amp rig, just bring your 15 or 50 amp adaptor (we always travel with adapters). Recommend highly, we will stay again!
