Come stay in our tiny cabin situated on our 12-acre mountain retreat about 25 miles north of Asheville, where the nearest neighbor is a mile away. Nestled within 500 uninhabited acres, you’re more likely to see deer, turkeys, or even a bear than another person. The 12’x20’ cabin is surrounded tightly by mountain hardwoods. Instead of driving to see the colors of the fall leaves, you can stay right in the middle of them, relaxing in an Adirondack chair around the campfire. Up to eight guests are welcome on the property.
The cabin features a king-size bed in the loft and an IKEA foldout queen-size sofa downstairs. Drinking water is provided, and there is an indoor composting toilet (no shower). Please note that the driveway is steep and winding, but after you park, it’s a nearly flat 150-yard walk to the cabin.
For groceries, shops, and services, head about 15 miles southwest to Weaverville. There are plenty of outdoor activities to explore, from hiking in Pisgah National Forest to checking out the panoramic views at Mt. Mitchell State Park.
