Within 15 min of Uwharrie National forest for UTV, hiking, fishing. Near several Small wineries. Near Badin and High rock lakes for swimming, kayaking and fishingPitch your tent in an open Meadow in the shadow of a Forest. Watch for deer or other Forest creatures. Sleep to crickets and frogs. Serene atmosphere, not near the highway so any road noise is rare. Friendly land owners that would gladly share a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll or leave you in peacefulness.
