Private property bordering Nantahala National Forest on Little Snowbird Creek in Robbinsville, NC. 16mi from Lake Santeelah, about 10mi from the Cherohala Skyway. MUST HAVE 4X4 OR AWD VEHICLE TO ACCESS MOUTAINTOP CAMPSITES. Property damage fee of $100 for 2WD vehicles not adhering to rule. 2WD vehicles must camp creekside, sites 1-6. NO AXES, HATCHETS, MACHETES ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. NO NAILS IN THE TREES TO HANG THINGS. It damages the tree and causes them to die. Spacious camping lots, and great trout fishing but will need a landowner permission slip as little snowbird creek is on private property. Fishing privileges are actually written into property owners' deed on the purchase of land. Amazing views and relaxing sounds of the creek can be heard from anywhere on the property. Many Hiking trails are just a short drive from the property and please be respectful of others' property and no trespassing signs. It’s a kinda bumpy mountain road to get there but the secluded, peaceful and breathtaking views make this location a must-see and adventure.

Site 9 - mountaintop, "Big Ian"
My family absolutely loved it camping here! From fishing on the river and hiking up and down the mountain to just sitting at top on the site was just awesome! The host is super friendly and awesome. We will definitely be back.

Amazing views! Clean and well kept areas to camp. The views are unbelievable and the camping sites are very spacious. We stayed at site 7 and the view of the mountains is like nothing you have ever seen before! Well worth the travel to get there.

“Blue” 6 creek tent/towable
The campsite was spacious and GORGEOUS! Our dogs loved it which of course made us love it even more. It wasn’t hard to get to or find. Andrew the camp host was extremely friendly and brought us a map of the area and recommended must do things, he even gave our dogs treats!! I would love to stay here again in the future, it was the perfect camping trip.

Remote RV Camping was a BLAST!
My 18yr old son and I stayed two nights at the site for his Spring Break. We loved the remote / private site right on the stream with our 17' teardrop RV. The fishing was a blast as Andrew had recently stocked the stream. Took a nice hike up to the top where you have some great views. My son was the expert fire builder and I was the camp chef. This resulted in many great campsite meals! I would highly recommend this as a destination if you want to get away and unplug for a few days.

Gorgeous Hilltop Campsite
Beautiful property and the hill top camping spots are amazing! The creek down below is also such a beautiful add on to this property. Remote and incredibly tranquil! Andrew is also a wonderful host who was happy to help in any way he could. Would definitely recommend camping here! 10/10

Seclusion & Stunning Views
I made the slightly out of the way trip to stay here based on the previous reviews and could not be happier I did. My GSP was able to be off-leash as the site is quite large and she was able to roam freely which was a huge plus. View was spectacular! Andrew was great, highly responsive and you must heed his warning for the upper sites, a 4x4 is an absolute must. Also note there was zero Verizon service if you were to need it during your stay. I will definitely be back.
