Mountain View Camp & Hot Tub
hooray for hottubs!
beautiful land and the hot tub was sooooooooo nice. we got rained out so didn’t get to stay our full time but it was lovely. would like to come back when the weather was nicer and have more time to explore. super comfortable campgrounds. it will be perfect when they get the bathrooms completed.

Mountain View Camp & Hot Tub
Beautiful. The view alone would make me book this again and the hot tub is wonderful touch. The firewood was dry which as you all know isn’t usually the case. I would actually recommend booking this site when the leaves are gone because you can really see the mountains. I guess I’ll have to book a summer trip to see for sure!! I felt safe throughout my stay as well. I will Be back!

Mountain View Camp & Hot Tub
Nicely secluded, but not without access to service. The views were very nice, and the hot tub was delightful! The trails were a bit confusing, however. One of the trails was misnamed (labeled Maggie’s Ridge on the map). It was slightly difficult to figure out which campsite we were at (in relation to the trails) since there wasn’t a “You are here” indicator. Other than that, a very relaxing experience and I would definitely come back!

Mountain View Camp & Hot Tub
Perfect Spot!
Incredible camping for our little family. Clayton and Tiffany were lovely hosts! The campsite had everything you would need - electric and water hookup and a shelter from the rain! It rained an entire day (quite heavily) and we stayed dry in our pop-up the whole time. The hot tub was an added bonus and so nice to be able soak and take in the scenery. The space is completely private and the perfect escape from all the hustle and bustle. The little town of Taxoway is adorable - we went to a cute little Italian restaurant and had some pizza. We took advantage of the ice cream shop across the street!! Gorges State park about a 15 minute drive. The visitor Center is super nice and the park has some gorgeous water falls with a fairly easy hike to get to. We loved this spot and will be back! What a gem!
