Perfect Little Family Getaway
Went glamping by the river for hubby and daughter's birthday. She brought 2 friends, and we absolutely loved our little site! We got lucky and had all 3 sites to ourself so it wasn't top crowded. Went Tubing and loved it! 😍 All of the campers near us were polite and friendly. It was a great trip and Michael was very responsive and an awesome host. We definitely will be back in the future!

Non creekside site
Deep Creek was beautiful! Michael was very helpful with suggestions about things to do in Bryson City. We ate at Bryson City Brewery. The smash burgers were enormously delicious. Tubing was really easy. The national park was about a mile way. You can have someone drop you off there and tube to the site. We did it multiple times. Loads of places to rent tubes for about $7. We brought our Walmart specials and got a full body workout. Very fun! Michael provided firewood at each site. Dog friendly neighborhood. The sites are pretty tight. We stayed in site 9 but parked in 8. We will try to reverse that next time. 9 is next to a trailer not part of the campground. We woke up to people on the porch awkwardly staring as we cooked, read or played board games. Other campers may not mind at all. There was also a lot of walking behind our camper to get to the creek stairs. That was super uncomfortable and not at all common at a campground. Again, if you don't intend to be social then choose any other site. 3 and 4 are noncreekside. 6-8 was creekside and had more privacy than 9 with shared community stairs. Verizon and Tmobile picked up well for us at the site. No wifi but very nice and new full hookups! Michael was great at checking in to make sure we were happy. His suggestions were all great! We hope to visit again!

Creek Side Site
Hidden gem right on Deep Creek
Lucky to find this RV spot last minute for 4th of July weekend. The site was small but tidy and best of all it was right on the river with very easy access even my Westie could safely get in and out of the water and had a blast. My husband fly fished right out our back door and even with some tubers that came floating by caught a pretty rainbow. Our host, Michael, was not on site but took the time to speak with us on the phone and text and shared very helpful information. Oh, and it’s so close to Bryson City it’s super easy to get into town. Check it out!!!
