Almost Home for Arabians in the App, North Carolina

Pitch your tent or small RV on quiet, private 17 acres in Franklin, NC ; I am just beginning this camping adventure so please reach out with questions! I also just finished a room in the barn for an upgraded camping experience. The room has electricity, a fridge, coffeemaker and daybed with linens.

Bailey's Last Stop Horse Hotel is the home to Project Almost Home for Arabians. We partner with an equine rescue to foster 3 to 4 beautiful Arabians while helping them find their forever home. We have 5 permanent residents; 30 year old Ranger is a sweet kid friendly horse who loves hugs and scatches. The horses are in various pastures around the property with multiple camping options available for tent and RV campers: my property ends up a mountain with beautiful views for those who want absolute seclusion ( although right now you would have to hike on foot approximately 1/2 a mile to get to that spot). There are multple quiet spots with views of the various pastures. Or you can park or camp close to the barn which has electricity and running water.

I also have stalls available to rent per night for those wanting to vacation with their horses. Chickens live on site with fresh eggs available.

The property is located 10 minutes from downtown Franklin, NC which has a cute downtown, brewery, and is a stopping point for hikers on the Appalachian Trail. We are about an hour to the entrance to Great Smoky Mountain National Park. White water rafting is available within 30 minutes at Nantahala Gorge. Endless hiking, canoeing, waterfall viewing within 30 minutes.
