Family Friendly Campsite River View
We loved camping at Sarah’s place! Everything was great - lovely view of the lake, awesome firepit (we loved the color packs!), and felt remote enough while very close to society. Thanks for letting us camp on your land!

Family Friendly Campsite River View
Quick Overnight Trip
I had a great time here. I booked at the last minute and for only one night as my schedule is a bit chaotic. Bonus points to the hosts for that. Upon arrival I met Paul, Sarah's father. Great guy. He chatted with me, gave me some background on the land and the surrounding area and pointed out all the amenities they offered. The site was super clean and had multiple grills, chairs, a fire ring, swing set, picnic table and a just about the best appointed outhouse I've encountered. There was no traffic noise even with hay fields mowed down for the season. It was absolutely dead quiet except for the water running over the spillway up the river a bit which I found quite relaxing.
While the actual camping area is set back and above the river, there's a good amount of shore line in sight from the site. It's an easy stroll down to the river bank which is quite wide and flat and I expect this area to be more usable in the summer months than the first week of February. Paul told me some people bring tubes, kayaks etc during the summer months which I'm looking forward to. While it's great to get away even for one night my plan was to scope out a nice spot for quick getaways in the summer months and I'd consider this trip a success. I'm looking forward to bringing my wife and perhaps a few friends back over the summer. Thanks for a great night.

Open Space Camping with River Veiws
We love the place! the space is beautiful, I wanted to give my special thanks to Sarah and her husband, who helped us at all times. We had difficulty finding the place because it was night and they stayed in touch with us until we found it. Our car got stuck in the mud and they helped us get the car out again. We are very grateful for the help and I definitely recommend it. 🙏🏻

Family Friendly Campsite River View
This is one of the beautiful spots by the river. Communication was so smooth with Sarah. You can enjoy the city lights at night, stars, and beautiful sunset from the site. I will definitely go back.
