This land was once owned by Mr King (West King Road) There are many tiny houses on it built on this roadin the 1940's for the stone quarry workers who build the gorge trails in the area. I bought 3 little houses here and 4 acres of land in 2002. I mowed a labyrinth in about an acre. I hope to add more to it as time goes on! Learn more about this land: The Villa Cocoon is a step up from camping -insulated with electric,a fan, a portable heater, bed & table. It can be used any time of year if you don't mind stomping through snow in the winter. Located near the fire pit and house. There's a nature trail on the property - it's a short walk to Upper Buttermilk and the gorge trail as well as the Fingerlake's trail! It's a space to reflect, cocoon, do a little art and reading...collage supplies and paint included as well as sampling essential oils and tea. Keep in mind there is NO BATHROOM... just a pee bucket under the bed that you will empty & rinse out. Many use the nearby gas station or cafe. There's a washroom and eco bags & powder as back up. You can also arrange for bathroom usage in my house if your staying awhile. YOU WILL need to bring - Bedding - sheets, pillows, blankets or a sleeping bag. A mug to help yourself to tea Please, bring any garbage made with you. I look forward to sharing my space which I have enjoyed myself, practicing music and art, reading and writing for self-care and growth. I really love the energy in it and feel such a small space holds people in a cozy and comfortable way.No contact camping - Pitch your tent in or near the nature path! Residential but areas of privacy, big fire pit, walking distance to beautiful gorge trail and Upper Buttermilk Park and Fingerlakes trails. Just 3 miles to the eclectic city of Ithaca!. Primitive style camping with nature trail on the land. You are responsible to bring everything you need. Come sleep under the stars away from the crowds but not too far away! Villa Cocoon near Buttermilk

Wonderful tiny home hidden gem

Kelli's tiny house oasis is a true hidden gem! It's rare to find a lodging option with the comforts of heat/mattress/indoor space at such a great price. And that's not even the sweetest part, which is the plot of wild-growth-lined walking paths right outside the door. Also a very convenient location less than 10 min drive to town. Thank you Kelli!

Such a cute place!! And loved making a collage. I loved how good the price was, I’ll bring my own bedding and pee in a bucket for that! And I got a bunch of her home made goodies added on they are awesome!!

RV parking- Upper Buttermilk trails

This was a really nice mostly private space super conveniently located just a few minutes from Ithaca. The ground was level for our van and there was no check in process, we just pulled right into our spot when we arrived. It’s walking distance from Buttermilk Falls Park and we bought firewood from Kelli’s neighbor just up the street. Would stay again!

We enjoyed the proximity to Buttermilk Falls SP. Nice views across farmland to nearby hills. Road traffic minimal to nothing at night.
