Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Mary queen of England granted approximate 400 acres to the Davenport family in 1689. The original homestay location was lost.  A Dutch home and barn were build during  the pre-industrial revolution. Unfortunately the home was lost to a fire in 1979, you can still see the stone foundation. The diary barn was converted to a home in 1984. 20 acres remained landlocked with pittoresk class A trout stream running trough pastoral setting.

Pioneer Living on Horse Farm
misrepresented as advertised
By far the most misrepresented as advertised situation ive ever encountered. The price was misrepresented, lake access was misrepresented, the hot tub and horse back riding was misrepresented, the shower and bathroom also misrepresented. Privacy was impossible considering it was on the owners back yard with multiple other site renters all with in eye and ear shot. If the site owners were honest it wouldnt have been horrible. Hope this review changes how they advertise there site.

Pioneer Living on Horse Farm
We have a 2-year-old and eased him into camping with this experience. It was perfect. He loved staying on the farm with dogs, ducks, chickens, horses. Lots to explore and the region has some great hikes.

Ibiza Tent on Horse Farm
Tim was awesome and had great hospitality for me and my friends over the weekend! The listing description is very different from what we experienced, although we had a great time we were expecting a very different layout. Initially, there's no mention of other bookable campsites at the farm and were surprised that we would be sharing the campfire, hot tub, or bathroom with other guests. The listing states 1 bookable secluded campsite. If we knew there were other guests sharing all the amenities I would never have paid $550 for 2 nights (we had 11 people total). Would've just got a rustic site at a campground for a fraction of the price. It IS an amazing farm and all the other guests were very friendly and we had no issues what so ever other than the price (we brought all of our tents and a minie Winnie so we didn't even use the ibiza tent). Just note the communal fire ring, hot tub, grill, and bathroom will be shared with ALL guests and not just your party.

Pioneer Living on Horse Farm
This is a great glamping location! The tent is stocked with all your cooking needs and has a table right outside of it. The electric blanket really helped at night too when it got cold. Tessa, Turtle, and Tim were all amazing and took us in like family. It was an amazing stay :)

Pioneer Living on Horse Farm
The Land of Queen Mary is a serene slice of heaven tucked away in a small upstate New York town. If you are looking for the ultimate nature relaxation experience, you've found it. With a laid back vibe, this place is serendipity defined. Friendly animals, the sounds of nature surrounding and great hosts make any stay here worth while. Pioneer Living on a Horse Farm is a beautiful canvas tent tucked away on the farm, this "glamping" experience comes with a gas stove cooking set, a picnic table, access to a bbq grill and hot tub as well as countless other amenities on the farm. It's hard to believe a place like this actually exists, one would guess the farm is straight out of a movie. Everything about the place is great and I highly recommend visiting!
