Slateville Retreat ~ Tower & Cabin
Room with a 360 view!
What a place! If you're looking for a unique stay, you've found it. Sleeping in a fire tower is a truly special experience like no other. We loved waking up to sunrise through the 360 degree windows, and looking out over the fall palette with all its oranges and reds. The bed itself is super comfy and warm, despite it being pretty cold weather on our trip. The cabin has everything you need for a great luxurious stay, including a nice hot shower and full kitchen. We cooked over the outdoor grill, and then snuggled up inside to play board games. Breakfast on the porch in the morning was also a win. Would love to visit this place with a larger group in summertime and play some Kuub! Highly recommend Heather's place - they've gone above and beyond to make this place something special.

Absolutely Blissful!
The Slateville Retreat was amazing and absolutely spectacular. This camp has everything you need and more. Our stay was peaceful, relaxing, and filled with serenity. The best part about this camp was the host. Heather went out of her way to make her home as open and welcoming as possible. Thank you for everything Heather ❤️ Set on top of a mountain, this camp has the most amazing scenery and privacy you ever wanted at camp. We could tell how much this camp is loved, because it felt like home to us. Way to go Heather, everything was more than perfect, it was exceptional. Lot's of love, George and Tara Turner

New York Safari
An amazing, unique, peaceful, and beautiful experience. Waking up in the tower made us feel like we were on Safari!! Pretty magical! Cabin is adorable and has all you need to cook a nice meal. Front porch, back porch, tower porch… so many lovely outdoor seating options. Didn’t make it to the farm for a swim, but we intend to do so next time. Highly recommend!! Thanks Heather!!

Slateville Retreat ~ Tower & Cabin
Worth it!
Most amazing stay we have ever experienced. This is a special place. The pictures do not do an ounce of justice to the beauty of this magical property. Complete peace and privacy here on your own large secluded chunk of land. The fire tower with it’s 360 windows was wonderful. Very little light pollution and the stars were amazing. I would BOOK NOW because I foresee this place being much more expensive in the future! This will definitely be featured in one of the most unique stays in the US on documentary’s, magazines, etc one day! We chose to sleep in the fire tower because we thought this was the most unique part of the property. There is a super comfortable queen bed that the host recently added, as well as several updates that aren’t even yet posted on the pictures! You won’t regret booking here and it is well worth the money.

Five Stars!
The Tower site was awesome! My son and I had a ton of fun there. Heather even gave us a tour of their property and other camp sites. The cabin was as well appointed as any Airbnb or condo I’ve ever stayed at. Seriously, it had everything! Dispute the modern conveniences in the cabin, we spent most of our time by the fire pit or up in the tower. Very peaceful and amazing views of the land!
