Welcome to Hickory Hollow! Located 7 minutes from the Town of Catskill, 25 minutes from Hudson, and just under the Catskill Mountains, Hickory Hollow is the perfect campsite to take full advantage of the Upper Hudson Valley. There are two campsites you can chose from, both in clearings that make for great star gazing. Camp 1 is deeper into the forest taking about two minutes to walk to from the parking area. Camp site 2 is only a one minute walk but much closer to the farm. If you are coming with a dog, I would recommend staying at Camp site 1, as the farms dogs are very vocal when there are new friends in the area. Each campsite comes with a fire pit, a grate for cooking, and a picnic table. There is parking provided and a composting outhouse. You will need to bring your own firewood, though there is plenty of available kindling. The property is 9 acres and I encourage guests to hike down to the stream and take a walk if they feel comfortable. If not there are so many hiking/swimming options nearby and I am happy to point you in the right direction. This property has a been a life long dream of mine, and is (in my opinion) the most beautiful place on earth. That being said there is a still a lot of work that I am doing since this is a very new endeavor. So please watch yourself if you do decide to stay. The Hollow is beautiful but also very steep, so please be careful while you walk the woods. Pets are welcome, but again, be safe. There is an abundance of wildlife in the Hollow (see if you can spot the porcupine) but that can be very distracting for dogs, so be cautious when letting them off lead. Site 2- Hickory Hollow

Cute little site, perfect for a quiet, secluded camping experience. Very short walk to the car with everything marked very clearly. bathroom views (with toilet paper & hand sanitizer available) were 🤌🏻.

Site 2- Hickory Hollow

Fun spot convenient to locales

Fun spot convenient to Catskill, surrounding towns, and lots of hiking options. There are two campsites, our group of five fit into camp 1 with a picnic table and fire pit with provided removable grill. There's a composting toilet in an outhouse which is convenient. It uses sawdust and there's no smell. We would strongly recommend ear plugs, I think there's an animal sanctuary or something next door. Roosters get up early.

Site 2- Hickory Hollow

Awesome spot!

Loved this site! Private, but close to grocery stores, swimming holes, and plenty of hiking trails. I thought it was pretty cool to be able to choose between sites and the picnic table and cooking grate were super convenient. We stayed at site #1 and loved waking up to the sounds of the farm animals. The outhouse was very clean and included some thoughtful touches like a mirror, flashlight, hand sanitizer, and extra toilet paper. 10/10 would recommend!

Site 2- Hickory Hollow

The location is really great as it was within 20 minutes of everything I planned to do.. Evan was super responsive on all questions.... can't beat the price... the site was very clean.. Do pre-download the map in finding the site as I did and still had a bit of a challenge locating the right house with the gate you needed to go thru (there is a sign there).. I was in Site 1-- maybe try Site 2 as the farm animals making noise all night really is quite real...bring ear plugs!

Hickory hollow is a super cool spot! we had a great stay and were able to cook on the very solid grates over the fire!
