Escape to a private wooded oasis aside a babbling creek on 3.3 acres in the Taconic foothills of eastern Columbia Count, surrounded by the forests of Harvey Mountain State Park. The streams runs for 300 yards through the property, which also features a pond, a house and garage apartment, hundred of trees of all colors and plenty of room to roam. Thirty minutes east of Hudson, Austerlitz sits in an area with tons of natural and cultural treasures to explore. The villages of Great Barrington, Stockbridge, and Lennox MA (home of Tanglewood) as well as Chatham and Hillsdale NY are all just 15-20 minutes away. Hiking, biking, rivers, lakes and streams are all in nearby abundance, as are skiing and winter sports options.Secluded campsite in a wooded clearing right next to the creek, with no neighbors in site. Parking is right off the road about 50 feet away. Explore the local flora and fauna, have a meal at the picnic table, enjoy a campfire and relax to the sounds of the stream and rustling leaves. Art, antiques, and outdoor activists abound in an area rich with history and local lore.
