Omadale Brook offers creek side camping at its best! Crystal clear, snow laced water, with amazing vista, wildlife a plenty and serenity. Find a peaceful place at Omadale Brook to camp and relax off grid. Great to stop and unwind or use as a base camp for 4WD to explore the stunning Barrington Tops including the famous Aussie Ark. The Historical Victoria Hotel is located just 13kms down the road, in Moonan Flat. Omadale is a historical Brook (nee Creek for those not of Scottish decent), originating in the heart of the Barrington Tops at Pole Blue, flowing down to meet the mighty Hunter River, the camp site is located at the bottom of the Brook just before it meets the Hunter River. You can set up on either site as a group or simply as a single camper.

Site 2 - Omadale Brook Camp
Great spot with wifey & the hounds
This slice of heaven was amazing, this will be a go to for long time to come. The brook was picture perfect, the camp site nice and flat with plenty of shade. We had no problems with enough sun to keep or batteries topped up. There is plenty of firewood about, although you will get wet feet as it is on the opposite side of the brook. All in all the magical spot gets a 10/10 from us.

Site 1 - Omadale Brook Camp
Beautiful Spot
The location was very private and quiet, unfortunately we had to leave a day early as our son ran into the stinging nettle that's grows all around the camp area, We didn't find it suitable with young kids due to the bindis though out the camp site as keeping shoes on a 2 yr old isn't easy , BUT would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet beautiful place to stay with out young kids, instructions and communication from host was great 👍
