Our family have lived at ‘Edgecote’ for eighteen years. We are predominantly horse breeders and trainers, however have some cattle and many dogs. We love the great outdoors and especially enjoy this ‘bottom paddock’ because of all the trees and the bird life. The dam gives the space a cool feel and a place for dogs to swim and retrieve.A lovely 20 minute drive from Tamworth, the country music capital of Australia. Set up your camp amid the gum trees, and relish the quiet and peace of country north west NSW.  Enjoy the fresh air and birdsong while relaxing by the fire pit or enjoy a sundowner overlooking the farm’s personal dam. Nature walks in the wooded paddock are welcome, as are well mannered pets.  A classic Aussie corrugated bush toilet - named the ‘Thunderbox’ - is available for campers to use along with cold non-potable bore-water on tap for guests to use. As the dam is close to the campsite, children must be supervised at all times and are the responsibility of their guardians.  No swimming. Guests must take all rubbish with them on departure.

Thanks Susie!
Gorgeous views, and very peaceful. Susie is so lovely, and gifted us fresh eggs that were a treat for breaky. Wood pile, easy to get to and only 15 minutes from town. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful and peaceful!
We had the best stay at this hipcamp. Even though we weren’t here for very long Susie was so beautiful and brought down some eggs for us. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Peaceful Country Camp - Tamworth
Susie’s property was beautiful. The space was perfect for our roof top tent and pull out awning. The birds were a plenty making the place even more peaceful. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again.

Peaceful Country Camp - Tamworth
Wonderful setting with prime sunset and sunrise. Susie was very welcoming . The access is very easy, the site is spacious. Susie invited us to discover the extensive paddock. We spent a beautiful night there with our van.
